Watching that sickening Blair and Jamie Oliver clip, you begin to see the evil that dark contemporary Sci-fi is channeling. It looks like some future dystopia even though it happened 5 years back

Jeez I remember this. Jamie Oliver who seems to have attended the National TV Awards dressed as Roger Moore in The Persuaders. How baffling he took every plaudit whilst at the same time advertising junk food for Sainsburys. What a twunt
I don't know why this comment got so many negative votes. You're definitely right, this nation's attitude to food is worrying and Jamie did a lot of good. Or tried. Not sure what the long-term effects of his shows have been.

Charlies irreverent style is top notch entertainment.
The interesting thing about Jamie Oliver is that his school dinners aren't actually healthier than the stuff they replaced. In fact, they're actually much worse for kids.
See in the states, despite (or perhaps because of) its obesity problem, school meals are pretty tightly regulated in terms of nutrition. Jamie's school dinners don't fit the bill. They're low calorie and high fat (one has more saturated fat than a KFC Double Down), whereas the burgers and pizzas are actually quite low fat.

I truly believe he did the school dinners programme because of a genuine concern over the diets of young people in the UK.
Exhibit A - Iceland. Some people really do live on this junk and maybe I am sneery middle class but surely it's a worry that kids don't know what a tomato is?!
You only have to look at how much he aged in such a short time - he didn't do the programme for financial gain or profile, you can tell his heart really was in it.
