Charlie talks about the guidelines that TV has to adhere to. He reviews Celebrity Big Brother 2007 and Psychic Private Eyes. Doug Stanhope gives his views on television.
Everytime I hear the theme tune to this, I'm internally singing: Char-lee Broo-kahs Screen-wipe, Char-lee Broo-kahs fucking screen-wipe over and over until you get to the piano bit and it goes all sceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenwipe.
@dratdrop In all fairness, 15 Million Merits was pretty much a dramatised Screenwipe rant with elements of Network thrown in. So I'm not surprised to see ideas from it pop up in these episodes. :)
@YorkeTchock Meh, for a mainstream band Muse are pretty fucking awesome, tbf. They're no Radiohead, I agree, and they have nothing on my favourite bands like GNR and Alice Cooper, but I'd rather have Muse topping the charts than, say, any other mainstream group atm heh. They're a proper band, at least, and just have a bit more appeal than RH, whose music is dreary-awesome, but dreary, and an acquired taste. Better than Lady 'Looking A Right Twat Is My Gimmick' Gaga, in any case heh

15 Million Merits, (excellent) was co written by Mrs Brooker, AKA Konnie Hug.
Thanks Charlie, im going to name my first kid Cillit Bang
that is a very keen observation, and I have to say how brilliant 15 million merits was.
I think you might own the best comment on t'interwebs. However, you have just implanted those fantastic lyrics in my head now :P
Best intro ever
The National Anthem sets the tone really well
I'm going to name my first born Cillit Bang now....Thanks for the idea Brooker!
I seem to piss myself laughing every time I see the Leo Sayer clip @ 6:19
For a British TV comedy review program, Screenwipe has always had a pretty sweet soundtrack...
Honestly, I was thinking of the book Fahrenheit 451
I feel like I've heard this theme music somewhere before...
Cillit bang baby XD
I haven't heard of a single one of these 'famous' people. I'm 39 yrs old, who the hell were they?

No one caters to what offends me on TV, if they did reality shows would not exist.
@MrBryanCreason "AM 180" by Grandaddy

Radiohead!
1:50 15 million credits, anyone?
Woo Take a Bow and The National Anthem at the beginning.
Wasn't Jo involved with something equally offensive like "Reach" for example?
@CCNuck Whoops! It's spread!
@Shane2352 Muse? Fucking Radiohead afterwards!
(I say this with the utmost hope that I'm not starting another TH-cam Muse vs. Radiohead argument...)
Sorry, I do know who Leo Sayer is.
MUUUSSSSSEEEEE
@doctortehe I do this now. Thanks a logt.
