Charlie Brooker explores the gulf between real life and television. From Blind Date to rom-coms, TV has warped our expectations of romance, but do 'soulmates' even exist?
The last episode I commented that he was jus re-hashing old material, I assumed that not only was he lazy but also had no ideas anymore... He's Proved me wrong, this (correct me if i'm wrong) Is ALL NEW and ALL FANTASTIC! Sorry to doubt you Charlie
Undoubtedly the greatest media commentator of our age, but the targets he picks in this episode, especially the sense of the "unreal" about everyday experience, need to be elaborated (remember Lynch's car crash scene in Wild at heart?).Good, lots more eagerly expected from him and his co-writers,whatever they choose to shoot and fry next.
@JJAAHH I think he has re-hashed some old content because he is sort of setting the theme of the programme, so it makes sense to use some of his older material to sum up his points.
Anyone know the track from 3.55? I'll say thanks now because, apparently, this is the thing to do when viewing a Brooker vid. I'm far too important and, most of all busy, to answer back to you. At least that's what I tell myself and that lie seems to work
Mark 10:7-8 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one.
Eh, I've never been in love, but I've decided I don't know what it is until it actually happens. 11:57 - Hah! I was still unsure if it was real or not until that point. God he's good at that. =D
@finnsia If you disagree with benelef then fine but you don't have to be so down-putting about it. There's voicing your opinion and then there's acting like your word is law and referring to big Charlie Brooker fans as "twats". Its unpleasant, condescending and no one should have to put up with it. Also you accuse Ephabia of being a troll yet your behaviour is just as trollish as his.
I always want to hug Charlie when he goes off about his looks... he isn't ugly at all. He's actually pretty hot.

14:43 - And thus concludes "Charlie Brooker's Metaphor Theater" :D
This is fantastic.

In what universe is "Godfather 3" considered an "old movie"? My God, that's depressingly shallow.
