    Mine turned out GREAT! I am NOT a seamstress nor have I sewn much at all with a machine! I"m thrilled with my little pillows! Mine are little rectangular pillows and the formulas you provided worked wonderfully! Thank you!

    Love the way you did this! Perfect. Although I wish I could use the same method with adding piping.

    • @SandraVanSickle
      @SandraVanSickle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. You would have to make the front separate from the back two pieces.

    Great tutorial but as you are using the imperial system it's hard for me to visualise the size of the measurements without recalcuating them to metric. It would be helpful if you could include the calcs in cms, as the vast majority of countries use this.

    • @SandraVanSickle
      @SandraVanSickle  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, I am using the imperial system. That is a good suggestion thank you.

    So your folds go over the center pins so how are you measuring then?

    What type of fabric is recommendable to envelope the filling for outdoor back pillow. I'll appreciate your opinion. Thank you.

    • @SandraVanSickle
      @SandraVanSickle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Marye. I would recommend using a Sunbrella fabric for the pillow fabric and using an insert that is 100% polyfill and the shell is water resistant. Joann's carries a Weather soft insert. Hope this Helps.

    Hey nice I was wondering if I wanna do a couch pillow what fabric to use also do you have one with Pom Pom

    • @SandraVanSickle
      @SandraVanSickle  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can use just about any fabric. If you use Pom Pom, you can add it to the two side seams. Or Stitch it around the edge, depending on if you mind the top of the pom pom to show.

    Can’t believe you sewed over the pins! Please don’t set that example. I did that for years until I hit one, broke the needle which made a horrible noise and scared me half to death. Then I was without my machine for almost 3 weeks while the timing was repaired and I had a huge repair bill. Absolutely not worth the gamble.
