I am so happy that I found your video!! I had a general idea of what I wanted to do but your instruction was perfect! Very clear and concise!! THANK YOU!
Thank you for an easy tutorial! I ordered some pillow covers from Amazon and while they looked cute in the picture the fabric quality was terrible. I decided I could definitely make some better ones so I went looking for a video and found yours! Just what I needed. 😊
My new puppy chewed the corners off 2 outdoor throw pillows. I did not want to buy new ones and had some extra fabric from my outdoor cushion project...your instructions were easy to follow and I prefer the removable option. The new covers fit perfectly and were quick to make!
@@JannNewtonBeautyOver60I first made a cover using 3 pieces of fabric and an off-set back. Then I made a cover using your method. Your method produced a better finished cover. Thank you!!!
Wow, good job. I completely messed that up. Yes, the second number would be the size of the pillow form. 16", 18", and so on. Not 14" for each of them.
Hi I'm looking for your video of the envelope cover that uses three fabrics. My 11yr old daughter is doing a fundraiser for Archery team she is sewing pillowcases. We have a ton of scrap fabric of the popular print, but we ran out, soooo we are going to make covers 😁
Hey ive noticed that you use scissors to cut your thread ....i can see there is a blade on ur machine to cut thread. I also have a singer and have the same feature. Do you not prefer it or is it better to use handheld scissors?
I hope you find this very easy envelope pillow cover tutorial helpful!

Thanks, this pillow will go in my grand daughter's bedroom. She really likes it too! Thanks for watching!
Great video and well done! I have a 12x16 pillow. Would you suggest Velcro so it doesn’t gap or will it be okay? Thanks!
If you use the formula, you shouldn’t need Velcro.

Is the chart correct ? It shows them all at 14” ???? Shouldn’t that be the same size as the insert ??? Thanks.

Great video! Would this work with irregular pillow shapes? I have a window seat cushion with 5 unequal sides
It could be done, but would be tricky to figure out.

Good luck with the covers! I saw that you found the other tutorial.
If I want my pillow to be tighter in the pillow cover what measurements would I use.
The measurements I give don't include a seam allowance, which makes the pillow cover fit just right on the pillow form. Thanks for watching!
Is the extra 5 inches to cater for the stuffing in the pillow?
The extra 5” is to create the overlap opening on the back side.

I cut the thread with scissors because that’s what I’ve done for over 50 years. Old dog and new tricks.😜
Is it a one half inch or one and a half?my measurements seem to have gone wrong 😭
If you're asking about seam allowances - 1/2"
@@JannNewtonBeautyOver60 thank you!I'm a beginner, and they're not perfect but I'm delighted with what I've ended up with lol thank you x
Shouldn’t the 20” pillow be 45” x 20” ? Not 45” x 14”
Yes, my mistake. For a 20" pillow form, it should read 20" not 14".
Thanks. Glad I didn’t cut my material. For a 20” square pillow , I need to cut 45” x 20”, correct ???
