- hey yall!!
so in december 2023, i went to baltimore for the first time to look for an apartment as i was moving in the beginning of january 2024 to start a new job. these are just several apartments that i toured during the weekend i spent and luckily, i am now in baltimore and found a place to live in that i am super happy with!

Welcome to Baltimore…. I hope you have a great experience here. I’m born and raised here but moving in a couple of months as well. Happy Apartment Hunting. There’s some apartments in Pikesville that’s not too far from the city. Good apartments and affordable not cheap. The Avalon I believe. It’s located right behind the Pikesville Target, if you can resist the temptation. We also have a wegmans and Giants grocery stores near by. It’s a great area to live in. I’m moving to Houston and you’re right. I lived here all my life and while I’ve witness plenty of crime. None has ever happen to me.

It’s always interesting to me to see/hear other people’s opinion of Baltimore. It’s a tale of 2 cities here for sure. There are so many wonderful things here, you just always have to be aware of your surroundings and act like you live in a city.
I'm so glad to hear you like Baltimore City. The only one that stood out to me was Canton Overlook.
yes i loved that one soooo much but it was for low-income😭😩

It would have been nice to see the prices.
prices for a lot of the apartments i visited change daily based on availability/applications which is why i didnt include them

How do you like Baltimore so far? I will also be moving there from Houston and I hear a lot about the crime and cleanliness of the city
i love it so far! i heard a lot about houston crime before i moved there too and didnt see/experience any during the year i lived there. also havent seen/experienced crime in baltimore so hoping it stays that way!!
the city is pretty clean in my opinion, its not like new york where theres trash and rats in the streets
the only downside is the roads- i have a video called “i hate living in baltimore” explaining more

i don’t think you’ll find anything downtown at that price but just look on apartments.com
I live in Baltimore and have so all my life and the rent is high no matter where you live a 1 bedroom is gonna cost 1500+ and if you move downtown it’s really gonna be expensive my current rent for a 1 bedroom apt is 1500
