Great video Lyn, very informative and a very enjoyable watch, far more enjoyable than a lot of what I have viewed on mainstream TV. Please keep up the great work.
Another fantastic and very informative video Lyn, which we have linked to the FiW website entry under 'Llyn Berwyn'. Top marks to your camera man as well, working his socks off to get some great B-roll shots!
Thanks Ceri! Glad you like it, and thanks for adding it to the Fishing in Wales website. Indeed, credit must go to my mate Chris who’s behind the camera! He deserves a medal 👍
Loved the video, really wet my appetite for a trip to Berwyn or the Pools. You were close with the moss, but it’s common haircap, Polytrichum commune. It likes wetter areas and grows bigger. Bank haircap tends to be on shaded banks and deciduous woodlands.
I've always bypassed this Llyn and gone onto the Teifi pools. After watching this, I think I'll drop in on Berwyn for a days fishing. Looks great. Thanks for the upload. Question. Were you pulling the dries through the water like wets in order to induce a take?
@@Greg-k1p thanks Greg. Yes, Berwyn is definitely worth a visit when you’re around that area. To be honest, I get a bit inpatient at times with the dries, and slip back into ‘pulling mode’! As you suggest, the wild browns love a bit of movement 👍
What a fabulous place to fish..
And quiet too?
Must get there.
Excellent video.
It’s a special place for sure. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Great stalking in the margins on the dry flies Lyn ...well done...lovely place to fish and clear your mind among your beautiful Cambrian countryside
Nice one Terry! Appreciate you taking the time to comment. It’s a beautiful place for sure 👍
Great video, I like the action shots with the fish between you and the camera and the stalking commentary.
Thanks Jan! Yes, I’m lucky to have another camera viewpoint to help capture the action 👍

Thanks Viv! Glad you enjoyed this one, your feedback means a lot. Hopefully many more to come!
Nice one
