Love! Too nervous to try peel off base. I wanted to in order to help prevent nail damage and soaking off. But I try to keep my mani on as long as possible.
Nicole Adamczewski just do a strip from just below tour cuticle to just above the free edge. That should keep it from lifting on the edges. It’s really great tho for removal!
Legit So jealous of your nail beds. Mine are super small and my nails are taking their sweet ole' time growing out to where I can get a good length and my fingers don't look like fat nubs. lol

Do you feel you get a longer time to wipe excess off with TV than sparkle liquids before you dip?
Have u always put the peel base directly on your nail? Have u ever tried a layer of clear 1st and then peel base? I’m doing clear first and then 2 full layers of peel base. They are popping off but the layers of clear are also popping off and taking some of my natural nail with it 😢.
One more thing! Super love it. If I had a dotting tool I’d do it for sure!!

Try generic flonase twice a day if you are sick. Then once daily to prevent. I am a nurse. My daughter turned me on to this. My frequent colds gone. I have not had one in 6 years. I have not had the flu either. It is a game changer. I am a cancer survivor. I do not have as many lymph nodes anymore.
You are not kidding. Your nails don’t grow fast! Mine would be a whole cm out by now!!!!

Marla, when they pop off and you go to do another mani, do you remove the UNT and reapply a new coat? Please advise ☺️
When they pop off, the UNT is wither gone or on the product, not on the nail, so you don’t have to remove it but yes, you’ll have to reapply it for the next set
When you use the efile after application, are you just using a bit that came with the drill or was it separately bought?
Barbara Morgan I’m using the bit that cane with my natplus efile. But it’s a barrel diamond bit with a flat top. You can find it alone on amazon!
Marla Kris perfect! I bought the same drill so I’m sure I got the same bits. I did them today using that one because it looked the same and tried to redo your bloody fingerprint design on my nails.

Nicole Adamczewski yessss!! Got myself the Melody Susie “Scarlet” nail drill from Amazon. It’s AWESOME and you’ll see it’s debut in my next vid!! Both are great. I like the way the new drill stores and it seems to be a tad bit more powerful.
Marla Kris awesome!!!! I’m also curious if you utilize the directional option on the drills. Does it matter what way the drill bit rotates on your nail?
That’s a great question.. and YES! I use forward on my left hand and reverse on my right hand. It depends on the direction you’re going with the drill. The idea is.. you want the rotation to be the opposite the direction you’re moving. This pushes your cuticles back and creates the actual buff or exfoliation of your nails.

Absolutely! Buff smooth and apply peel base.
What drill bit are you using there? I find I go around the cuticles with a fine carbide bit but after a week some feel snaggy and I don’t flood my cuticles with product
Tracy DiPalma that’s a diamond ball bit - I believe the link is in the description box. I got it on amazon and it came in a set of 3. That plus a good dehydrator is my go-to prep and that all I ever do now! I had one mani last me 19 days before first lift!

My nails peel off when I swim. What can I did?
I got the Kiara Sky nourishing oil for my cuticles a couple weeks back because I knew you used it. And it smells like a new baby diaper to me, almost like baby powder.. Is it just me? lol

Totally could leave them matte! They don’t need any top coat. Or you could use a matte top coat (polish or gel)

I ordered a big tub of clear acrylic powder on amazon, Mia Secrets I think is the brand. I have no clue how good it will work or if dip powder is acrylic powder. But I have my fingers crossed when I use it next time it works!

It’ll work.. but I’d prob say don’t use it over darker colors. You’ll see the grains.

I really like the Kiara sky clear. It’s just a tad bit pricey for my liking, but worth it. The Tomicca clear is awesome over light colors (kinda like regular clear acrylic) so if you wanna do dark manis, I’d go with the KS clear
