  • Hey guys!!
    Have you subscribed to my channel yet?? No?? Well what are you waiting for?? Lol.
    If you’re enjoying my videos please be sure to like, comment, and SUBSCRIBE! :)
    Here’s a video on how I use a Peel Off Base Coat to avoid soaking my nails off w/ dip powder.
    This method has been a life saver for me. I love changing my nails often. Especially since I have 5243434 colors over here to choose from. Lol. I haven’t soaked off in over a year and have no plans on going back.
    I keep a layer of clear dip powder on my nails at all times and just do fills to maintain them.
    Here’s a link on how I do my dip powder fills. NO MORE SOAKING!:
    • Dip Powder Fill.. NO M...
    I’ve also created a playlist of the other nail videos from my channel:

    The peel base and other items I use in my nail videos can be found in my Amazon Storefront:
    Let me know if you have any questions at all!! I’ll be happy to help.
    Thanks for watching and I’ll see you in the next video!

    Ok ladybug, you ARE my spirit sister!!! I will describe why! I do the gel dip method, because of dip flu. I use UNT peel base and this is how….1) I use builder gel as my “base”, some may not, but I would apply something other than putting peel base on my natural nail and I hope some will understand why, when I finish. I wipe the tacky layer off my nails and I apply peel base about 5 mm from my sidewalls and cuticle area. I do 1 layer because I work in the dental field and wash my hands a TON. I need my mani to last at least 1 week, for my convenience. 2) I do my (gel dip, but regular dip will do the same) dip routine as usual! 3) my LAST DIP, I always also “cap” my tip in a layer. I file and finish as usual. Water or liquids AFFECT peel base, so keep this in mind. When I am ready to remove, I efile or you can hand file around the tip, sidewall and cuticle area estimating the area you leave not peel based. I then add cuticle oil ad GIRLLLLLLLLL, I use my teeth (while watching tv😂) to pluck that dip off and it usually comes off in one chunk. My teeth are my friend and hey, I work in the dental field so no one needs to come after my spirit sister!😂 I use UNT peel base too and have for over a year! If it ain’t broke, don’t FIX IT! 😂 The cost is GREAT, and so is the performance! IF I did 3 coats, I would never make it to lunch, at work.😂 I swear I love your precious self! Thank you for this video, it is EXCELLENT information!!!!

      My boooo!! Hey girl! You totally get me. My teeth are the best tools I have for this. Lol. Your method sounds like it works GREAT! I keep telling myself I’m gonna try leaving the sidewalls free of PB but I always get scared. Lol. I’m gonna do it the next time I go on vacation and let you know how it goes. 😉

    Not sure if you said, but will the peel-base stay after the dip nail pops off? Or does it need to be reapplied before the new color? Also, I’m a hairdresser with my hands constantly shampooing hair, will the nails survive that? I change my colors all the time, so I like the ease of this.

      @ItsCinnaMe  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey!! The peel base comes off with the dip so it does have to be reapplied each time. They will pop off much sooner when in water. You can try things like not covering the entire nail with the peel base. Try just a strip of peel base down the center of the nail not touching the cuticle or side walls. Maybe only put one coat of peel base instead of 2 or 3. Play around with it and see what works best for you. ;)

    Love this detailed tutorial, thanks for sharing!! Do you put a layer of anything on your natural nail before putting peel base on?

    • @ItsCinnaMe
      @ItsCinnaMe  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you. Yes. I keep a thin, clear base layer on my natural nails covered with top coat. Peel needs a smooth surface to work at its best.

    • @cindyandrews3185
      @cindyandrews3185 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Clear base of?? Newbie here and not sure what everyone is referring to.

    • @ItsCinnaMe
      @ItsCinnaMe  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The base layer is 2 dips of clear dip powder. Then activate, file and buff then top coast as normal. Then I dip on top of that.

      If I want them to last as long as possible without popping off, should I skip the top coat, or would that make the peel base not peel at all?

    • @ItsCinnaMe
      @ItsCinnaMe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will last longer but you do run the risk of it not coming off. That happened to me before. I would try it and see how it goes for you.

    So what is on your natural nail???? Just curious cause I have really brittle nails and I want something that will be a layer of strength and protection without ruining my natural nail

    Wait, I'm new to this..... did you prep with a clear coat of regular polish then do the peel layer then dip?

    • @ItsCinnaMe
      @ItsCinnaMe  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I use the dip powder clear top coat. Not regular clear polish. You can also use clear gel polish under peel base as well

    I think if you soaked them in water (of cause, warm is preferred) they will or should, soak up the water like sponge and that will make it even 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙚𝙧 to come off.

    Here I am soaking off, because after a week my mani still hasn't come off, and I couldn't pop off. 😭 Granted I used the sparkle & co peel base, I even did full nail application. I think I will try UNT, and see if that was works easier for me.

    • @ItsCinnaMe
      @ItsCinnaMe  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would definitely try UNT! Many that have problems with others have better success with UNT or vice versa. I think UNT is worth a try.

    LOL I bite mine off too!!! I have tried different brands of peel base and keep going back to UNT.

      SEE!!! Teeth are the best tool for this right? I’m so glad I’m not alone. Lol. I’m afraid to try others. 😬

    Can you use this when you use a tip?

    • @ItsCinnaMe
      @ItsCinnaMe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wouldn’t on a full coverage tip but tips glued to the tip of the nail can be done like this for sure!

    Can this be used on toenails?

      I certainly don’t see why you couldn’t.

      Hey, good idea. As it hard enough trying to reach and do all the prep work on toenails 😊
