The simple answer is they wanted to do this song and it's great in it's own right. Tati was able to growl long before this song but Jinjer actually said a few times in interviews that they dont consider themself a metal band since they just wanna play what they feel like playing (wich more often then not is at least part metal). You should also check out their song Beggar's dance from kingdom of everything there is no video of it though.
@@Matin3z_ well so far they only have few ballads so not wrong to say it that way either really, but i guess Jinjer just dont wanna be pinned to any genre even a very broad one like metal lol
Tati has sung in both cleans and extremes from her beginnings in Jinjer...Bad Water is their only video she sings clean only...at the other end though is their song "I want it I'll get it" where she sings harsh vocals only, and it's in Russian, and yes it's a banger
*Cloud Factory* was the first Jinjer album I heard (there are some great harsh vocals on that CD, by the way), and it got me hooked on this band. That said, I think they've matured a lot as musicians and composers since then. And adding Vlad on drums elevated Jinjer from very, very good to great. BTW: All yall's Jinjer reactions this week have been fantastic!
Thank you John so much! We've enjoyed every minute of it. We thought there was a new drummer, he's very talented and the band as a whole really changes things up instrumentally song to song.
Other great songs from the same album: Outlander (the Failure .Color video with studio sound and live audio is fan fave), Cloud Factory - either official or official live. I'm a huge fan of the lyrics video for No Hoard Of Value too. From the EP (later expanded to an album) before this called Inhale Don't Breathe, Scissors and Exposed as a Liar are great, and I'm a big fan of Destroy too. Cheers!

I am not sure what Tati's meaning of the song is but the feeling that I get from it is as follows. We as humans are made up of X% water, and humans being the destructive force that we are there for we will always be Bad Water to the planet.
