Anda I have bought over 120 books in the last few months since my mom passed away so I’m using it to cope with it and I have rest stop 🛑 as well but I have not started it yet prayers and blessings for you and your husband and families love your Aussie family friend John xxx
just finished I who have never known men (literally finished it this afternoon) and i adored it but also found it profoundly sad and desolate. i hope you like it as much as i do!
Can't wait to hear ur thoughts on all these books! Can't have too many books! I did read I who have never known men. It's a very popular book. I loved it. It's hard to describe. U will understand once u have read it. The books I own just haven't read them yet.
Cackle is so warm and cozy, a nice break from some more intense horror. I think you will like rest stop but I would suggest Mary, by Matt Cassidy - it deals with menopause in such an interesting way. Always on board with book buying, you can never have too many!
The way I see it... it's not "spending money on books" but rather "financially helping books to find a warm home". :) That's how I don't feel guilty about spending money on books. :)
Omg! I recommended I who have never known men to you on goodreads earlier this year!! I’m so glad you picked up a copy! It’s an amazing book and I hope you love it 😊
I also had issues finding Rest Stop at my local Barnes and Noble (all of my local Barnes didn't have it in stock too) so had to order it off of Amazon.
Smut you say? 😂 I would recommend Horrorsmut by Christine Morgan. This book mostly strays between horror & the more extreme. It's a great collection of short stories 😃
I have been reading a bunch of cozy books lately and have jumped on the Murder in the Mix band wagon. Reading Pumpkin Spice Sacrifice this month. You have inspired me to start the series and read one a month.
You have such a good haul. I really hope you review some of those soon, especially Death Valley and Rest Stop. I'm half way through Dracula (my 1st read through) and it's just so much fun. Perfect time of year for it!
I am so curious to know your thoughts on American Rapture! It was probably my favorite read of the year and just hit so many things that were so spot on for me as a former Catholic raised in the Midwest
I read I who i have never known men, in french since its the original language and also mine. And it was good. Im sure you will like it. It wasnt exactly too strange or disturbing. It makes you think tho! Not too hard to understand either, short and sweet :)
I totally agree you want to support authors also you can never have to many books 📚📚📚

That's probably why I bought it. The cover probably looked familiar when I was at the bookstore! Thanks for the recommendation.

I just finished Rest Stop the other day, it's so good! Fast paced, and fun. I think you'll love it! 📚📚
I'm excited to read it!

I just read a book called Gabby and the Gobblers and it would be perfect for a strange Thanksgiving video which I am all for!

Yessss!!!! This makes me so happy. I absolutely love these books.

I'm still waiting for it to get cold and stormy before starting Dracula. I might be waiting a while but I'm glad you're enjoying it so far!
Extreme Thanksgiving stories sounds great. I'm still working up to giving Santasploitation to my husband to read. Poor Santa!

Remember reading books and buying books two different hobbies 😂
Girl what do you mean you've never read any nat cassidy??? I need you to read Mary expeditiously
😂 I'll have to pick it up.
American rapture...very good but nothing like Maeve. I think if you go in expecting the same or something similar, you will be disappointed.
This is good to know. I'll try to go into it without expectations.
