I DNF'd Let the Right One In pretty early on. There's a scene involving a 10 year old male prostitute, and I just couldn't get past it. That book needs content warnings.

There's a scene with a young boy in 'Let the Right One In' that destroyed the entire book.
I read a book a couple of years back that had one small detail near the beginning, completely unimportant to the story other than to prove a point, that just irritated me so badly. Glad to know I'm not the only one who can be bothered by a small detail. I apologize to my cat all the time, even though she never apologizes to me lol.

I'm with you on the ending in Rock Paper Scissors, it could have ended about 20 pages sooner than it did. I enjoyed it overall though.
My husband and I have a book club of just the 2 of us. We go to a restaurant and have a nice meal and discuss the book we have chosen for the month.
Let The Right One In was so good!!! It’s my other favorite vampire movie so I was really excited to read the book. And I was NOT disappointed.
