Thanks for your vedios, Can you please help me on the calculation part of drug release.. I have taken the absorption value of my drug loaded sample by using UV visible spectroscopy.. after that I don't know further steps to calculate cumulative percentage and all other values.. I dont have anybody to help me.. can you make a vedio on this part in detailed.. plz do the needful..🙏

UV-visible gives you concentration of the solution (in mg/ml; OR ug/ml) from the standard curve. Measure the volume of your receptor. Say it is A ml. Multiply the concentration with the volume (A ml). This would give you the amount of drug released in mg OR ug (say X).
You should know how much drug you have loaded in the formulation (say Y). You can calculate the CPRD using the formula (X/Y)*100.

@@meilabnitrourkela5314 hi i am doing the same experiment, what does it mean by volume of receptor here.? I got my concentration of unknown sample from UV 30.29 and I'm stuck here. I don't know what to do next to measure drug loading?

@@zuhafatima5817 Since the dissolution media receives the drug molecules from the formulations (kept in donor), the vessel harboring the dissolution media is regarded as the receptor. If you have got the concentration of the drug in the dissolution media, multiply that with the volume of the dissolution media to get the total amount of the drug in the dissolution media.
