It's September 1st, 1 hour before ladder reset. CGB has been stuck at Diamond 1 bottom for 14 days. He now posts 3-hour long videos, 3 times a day. He can't recall the taste of food, nor the sound of water, nor the touch of grass. He has tried every deck in the meta, every combo, every jank pile, including 5C-Backup-Cleric-Tribal. Every deck-save for one. And because no one is immune to desperation and frustration (not even masters of the dojo, not even heroes among men), he finally breaks. Hands shaking, he slaps together a Mono-Red netdeck. He feels a rip in his soul as he clicks the "Play" button. 36 minutes later, he is up 7-0. He has made it-but at what cost. "You were the chosen one!" we scream, choking back bitter tears. "Honk honk", says the master, squeezing his red nose as his empty, watery eyes fade like distant stars in a sea of caked clown makeup under an orange wig.

I was, as well wondering about the intros.
And i say that as one of the people who not that rarly skip it.
But this quick overview of the decklist that is the background of your intros really helps me grasp, what cards, what variants of the decks you are playing you are playing.
And even on videos without the decklist, i appreciate a 3-5 seconds view on the decklist

Perfect intro CGB, I was laughing so hard... Do you not know what these cards DO?!?! We have a first timer here?!?! LOL. I feel your pain man, my salt levels are SO HIGH as well... literally been playing the SAME Azorius deck and got all the way to Diamond 2... and since then I can not win, I am back down to Diamond 4 it is a complete and epic disaster... similar getting screwed as in your videos, Constant mana screws / shuffler, facing Mono red on the draw multiple games in a row, or countless mirror matches where I cant draw a counter spell to save my life, but I will not change from Azorius bro, it is Azorius or bust to Mythic!!!!

Gix's command would've been a nice board wipe against the enchant deck and all those 2/2 creatures
A bit too slow, most times you will be already dead at that point.
Yeah Gix’s command is worthless against the enchantment deck their creatures are too big at that point. It’s okay against soldiers and can be the nail in the coffin for a mono red matchup though
@@SeruKgoeszomg I usually always get some value out of it, making it worth to cast and have 3 in deck is what I'm trying to say, just removing opponent's highest power creature and buffing one of yours can change the board a lot in my experience, I do also run few obliterators, archfiend of the dross and a 5 mana sheoldred tho.
Also I seem to not have as much of a problem with enchantment match up for some reason, which I keep hearing is the worst to face with mono black, that azorius mill control wrecks me every time tho lol

Hey cgb, been watching you a long time (found you when merchant was still playing) and heard some remarks in your last few videos that nobody will watch anything but your standard bo1 content.

Play what you want to play. I've probably watched about 300-400 of your videos. Any long time viewer can tell when you're playing something because you feel like you have to, and when you play something you're truly enjoying. The content is better when you're having fun.

I think it must've been a visual bug with his opponent conceding. Because the foundry and underdog were going to do 7 damage, which would leave them at 2. I guess since they conceded it bugged out and showed what their life would've been but then the foundry still attacked and put them at -2?
There's a bug in arena where if you leave the match/game while damage is occurring, it will deal that damage twice.
