- Are you hoarding nickels yet? They are worth 6 cents each for their copper / nickel value. While looking for more older nickels, I found some silver too. Check out the video, and let me know what you thing. Do you like the wartime nickels? Silver nickels are really cool, I think.

The next move in copper prices is looking good. Comex inventories at historically low levels. Hang on to your copper, folks.
@@mikhailkalashnikov4599 absolutely.... The next jump up could be a good one for copper holders
You’re getting closer 👍. Was that “Mumbler” a Willy Wonka reference?
I also keep nickels ‘59 and under. Sometimes I get most of them from my LCS, go figure 🤷♂️.
Well you have a good night and I wish you all the luck with Mr. Kitty. I know it would break my heart. Take care.
@@noicue8078 LoL, that was a Will Wanka reference.... I've heard a few others also say 59 and older. I was born in 60, but I can't say for sure why I chose 59, it just seemed right.
I'll be disappointed if Kitty runs off, but my wife will be quite sad.
I was raised that animals were meant to be outdoors, and I've always stuck to that, but I do like having kitty around...
Good night, I should have already been in bed
Just hunted a box of nickels and found a 1905 V Nickel 2 war nickels and a 1950 Denver
Wow, you had some box there. Way to go
Congratulations! That was a great hunt.
@@carlpfountz5534 thank you
Excellent video! I got a box of pennies this week. Several wheat cents, lots of copper. Kinda strange how every box is different. As economy struggles it seems as though people are cashing in piggy banks. Finding a bigger variety of treasures!
Yes, and that makes our hobby so much more fun... I just love finding a variety of things. Even if it's not more valuable. But of course the more valuable stuff is great.
Good one Gabby !!
@@dewaynedeason5 thank you
Good morning,
When I was taking pennies to dump at the coin machine at the bank they were unloading the machine (a coin roll hunter was dumping halves and filled it up) and I asked if I could have the $200 bag of nickels she had just taken out but she said they don’t let customers withdrawal them. Oh well 😂.
@@Silverguy12345 yeah, really depends on the branch. I have 1 bank branch that lets me get all I want, they even have my number to let me know when the halves are full. But the same bank, different branch says they don't allow people to buy the bags of coins.
I just keep the old Jefferson design 2003 and prior. I have something like 50lbs+ of American nickels, but 90% of the nickels I come across the are the newer design(s). I think most of the Canadian nickels from '81 and before are made of Nickel bullion. I do keep all of those I come across, and I probably have 4 or 5 pounds of those Canadian nickels too. What is that a quarter or even a third of an ounce of Silver? Great stuff! Keep stacking!
The 2 silver nickels have a total combined silver weight of about .125 ounces
Two silver nicks better than nothing.Should have shown your open album real quick at the end.
@@jaymartell2967 sorry, I'll show it next time.
When you get settled in, are you going to fire up the copper smelter again? Canadian Nickels 1946-1981 are 99.9% Nickel.
Yes, I hope to do that soon .. I've hated how long I've had to wait
