    Just for comparison, the SP500 has increased about 90% since 1/2019

      That's interesting to hear. I treat most of my stacking as savings with an upside now. investing in the stocks market is something that I do also.

      not counting cover calls, dividends, and other premium plays sure its 90%, but for me my portfolio enabled me to purchase 2 property versus my metal. Yes i love my metal but its not a investment, more like a savings account or a anti inflation store of wealth. so cant compare the two cause they dont equate. Now if i just compare to my savings account eating some interest rates metal performed way better. thats probably a better comparison

    It's good to look back and see how our precious metal purchases have performed. Great comparison there.

      It is nice to see our wins and loses from time to time and learn from it moving forward.

    Neat comparison! I also purchased Libs from 2018-2020 and then stopped buying them because of premiums. You doubled your money so to speak, so that is always a good thing!

      yes, i agree premiums went crazy after 2020. I just buy a few here and there now. or whenever i see a great deal.

    Hands down the 2019 1oz, 2oz and 5oz Antique Finish Libertads MS70 First Strike are the best investment. I would watch the FDOI MS70 regular mintage and PF70 proofs and reverse proofs of 2023. This is the first year an FDOI designation was used in grading I believe. This will make the most valuable even a more rare subset for first day issue.

    I appreciate the knowledge you kiced out here.

    I don't have a lot of them yet !
    But I'm working on that .
    Is there any place that i can keep my out for good deals or a good selection to buy ?
    Or what is the best way to obtaining the Libertad coin and different year's?
    Not too many coin shows where I'm located at .
    Thx. You for the viedo and showing off you beautiful 5 oz tad.

    Nice gains. I have some graded Libertads along with Chinese Pandas and proof/burnished ASE’s during the 2010’s. All have done nicely. I did buy a whole bunch of raw 1 and 5 ounce libertads during the same time. Really can’t complain about how those appreciated. This includes 2 2012 old school sealed banco de mexico tubes and 1 from 2013. Why did I break the other 2013 tube🤕. APMEX did list the 2012 tubes over the past year for like $1000+. Crazy considering I bought these from APMEX for far less around 2014-2015.
    Make a note to watch out for a video from my channel later next week. You want to see a mexican coin jackpot? Its going to be awesome.

      Very nice! I really like the 5oz Libertads as well. I got a few of those sub $100 which is amazing to think about now. I was always buying Libertads over Silver eagles which used to be pretty similarly premiums pre-2018.

      @@silvermoneyphoenix1624 its wild the variety of silver purchases I made between 2013 to 2020. Just too stubborn to buy bullion since 2020 plus I moved to a state that taxes bullion in 2021. But I digress: ase’s libertads, maples, somali elephants, britannias, pandas and some of that korean bullion. Thought I paid premiums then, ha ha. Some of those coins are par with spot and a small premium but those libertads and other vintage mexican numismatics have been very nice to me over the years.

    You could sell these in Europe for around 200-300. And we have no ebay fees anymore. We stopped using ebay because of the insane fees and they had to act and make it free lol

    You could also have made over 500% plus if you would have invested in Apple stock... but that is the risk of investing

    I just bought a 25-coin tube of Libertads. This bullion coin from Mexico is hard to find and I’ve never had a tube of these in my stack, so I was keen to grab them. Yes, the premium was higher than I’d like, but I got a decent deal and it wasn’t too crazy compared to two years ago. Maybe it’s not the best option for a stacker, but I like having one tube of silver bullion coins from every country that’s a player in this market. Besides, I buy to hold, so I’m not looking to flip these coins in an effort to make some fantasy financial killing in the future.

    Wow man, that's an awesome price to get those at. I sure wish I would've started a way back then. Congrats on having such a low DCA for them.
    That being said, im happy to own last years Narco Libertad with only 100 minted and waiting for the next narco Libertad to come out in april. Im thinking theyll be a good one to flip later on.

      Yes, prices on these were incredible back then. I also bought a good number of 2020s we'll see how those hold up in a few years.

      @@silvermoneyphoenix1624 that's awesome. I've been contemplating getting a ms70 Eagle each year moving forward but not sure how they'll do and if it'd be worth it to get the proof W's instead. I'm new to graded coins and only have two. Any insight on eagles?

    They seem to all be exquisite examples, but I doubt a coin dealer would offer you $50 a coin. And unless you have an eBay store, they’ll charge more than 10% of the winning bid if you ever decided to sell.

    • @silvermoneyphoenix1624
      @silvermoneyphoenix1624  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I definitely would not sell these to a coin shop. I do have an established account on ebay if i wanted to sell them there. Buy yes, it requires some planning and patience when liquidating. thanks for taking a look.

    • @byteme0000
      @byteme0000 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, eBay is terrible for sellers now. Not only are their fees nuts, but now they report you to the IRS if you’ve sold more than $600/year. So now, you have to complete another form at tax time showing what you paid for each item you sold and how much profit you made off of that each sale. Absurd. And the rule applies even if you just sell some old things from your basement! How the hell should I know what I paid for an item 20 years ago?
