Cele Vindi from your recent video has been trully awesome in WvW roaming and works decently in PvP in power flavour with some limitations. I've tried condi Herald with short bow + mace & axe at PvP and the damage was good but the build was frail; I'll play this one to see how it goes, thanx a lot!
been smashing this build lately and it singlehandedly allowed me, a filthy pve casual, to enjow roaming in wvw. Awesome vid spudz!
I just had a similar idea for a herald build, yours is a bit better. I tested it and it works incredibly well, allowed me to hold my own in 1v2 a few times in conquest
I've been rocking condi herald in WvW for a while. Demon/Dragon with Corruption and Salvation. Dodge cleanse FTW

i play a similiar herold build, since the dragon-legend is my fav legend of all. i have 1 BUT: when you made the wuicklink to gw2build, you forgot to switch to wvw-mode.
Druid runes also look attractive with this build by increasing quite a bit of healing whe sacrificing a bit of damage and vitality.
Really fun :) Is there like a dmg combo you would recommend when beeing on mace, and another combo when beeing on Shortbow? :)
For shortbow, 5 into 3/2 works really well. I like shortbow 4 to slow as well.
For mace, 2 into 3 for the blast finisher. Nice fire damage, as well as might.

celestial sb/gs vindi or celestial sb/m&sh herald? Feel like vindi more survivable due to dodge and escape from alliance stance
They both have their pros. I feel that this herald build in particular does more damage than cele vindicator.
I am so curious what scepter will do and how many new builds will come out if it. And maybe some other new stuff/ some reworks on certain undervalued rev stuff... still so long waiting...
Same here! I'm hoping it will work like trident and change effects based off of what legend stance you're currently in. Would be really cool for the class as a whole.

I have really been enjoying this build! It is much more robust than the Condi Herald I had been playing, with Viper armor. At the suggestion of another experienced player, I have been playing this build with a Green Wood Staff. is Mace and Shield better than a Green Wood Staff? At my level of experience, I still must depend on the advice of more experienced players.
I like mace/shield because it offers more offensive pressure than staff, while shield still has good sustain. The build has a lot of sustain already, so it’s a good trade.
Are you vs'ing moogaloo at the moment? I think I ran into you in wvw could not get your health down at all by myself. Ended up just giving up the chase mulitple times (I was a little asura scourge) 😅

what an interesting build, you're like baiting them with deceivingly low hp.
i play vindicator and i notice most of my deaths come from when they chain cc me and burst me down, and i don't have the energy to break stun and my other legend is still on cooldown. how do you deal with high CC -> bursty damage players?
It’s very hard to deal with such burst and chain cc atm on rev. Only thing you can do is predict with evades/blocks, and use your energy only for defense, until their burst window is over. It’s just the meta atm :/
@@spudzie9117 yeah its especially hard if one of your stances is dwarf stance, like 40 energy to stun break? aint nobody got that kinda energy lol. and it doesnt even give stability smh
Yesterday i saw 2 Heralds, 2 Renegades and 2 Vindicators battling at South Camp. And all had Shortbows 🤣
I believe it. I’ve seen so many salvation renegades running around. Might have to redo that video to complete the celestial shortbow trifecta for SoTo

I tried the build, and found that while it is great vs some specs, I struggle in outnumbered when enemy has a lot of CC (warrior, reaper etc). This build only has 2 stun breaks and no stability, also the Mallyx skills take so much energy that I'm finding it hard to manage that. Any suggestions?
Due to the nature of revenant most builds only have 2 stun breaks but the cd is lowered. Evading is your best friend. If you know you're fighting one of those specs, save your energy for defensive options until they use up all of their tools. Then you can go on the offensive with your energy.

I find relic of cerus not that reliable really. What about relic of nightmare, relic of vass
Why talking about shining aspects at 1:56, if you pretty much always want to take Hardening persistence?
Not sure if I mentioned it, but I take shining aspects for Spvp over hardening.
@@spudzie9117aye. That was normally what i was going with as cele herald due to healpower scaling. I'll give this build a try tho.

So, I've been playing as a Firebrand, but it's getting a bit tired of being a paladin. I've got this idea to create a character with some serious 'bad daddy' vibes, you know, someone who's both super handsoem and menacing. It might sound a bit weird, but hear me out. This is a really important question for the future of this game and it's up in your hand my man. I want to be a villain and be totally awesome at it. In your opinion, who's the ultimate 'bad daddy' character I can go for when I want to be suave and badass at the same time? I swear this is a whole new level question, I don't care about anything anything, just give me bad daddy so I can call my old vet dude friends, "bby girl I got you" and pew pew the hell out of everything. (I'm the only girl in my team so it's super important lolol).

Well tbf I tried multiple different gear stats, and celestial just works.. Every other gear option gave healing power as a minor trait, but was missing on stuff like vitality/power/expertise. Celestial gave all of those stats + the same amount of healing power.
