    I hope you feel better soon. I treated my depression by increasing my intake of minerals (Zinc, Magnesium) a bit by putting mineral oil and/or Epsom Salts in a hot bath. I took Activated Charcoal Capsules for several months as well. Even small amounts of lead, pesticides, or mold toxins can affect your health badly, mental health included. I feel better now. 🐕

    Hi Nessa!!! It's so great to see you again! I just want to say hang in there. I have been through this phase two years back. I genuinely felt I was drowning. I would just stay in my room 24x7. Nessa and Sophie, hurray!! I have been thinking about you and wondering how you both were during this time. I'm so glad to see you're both well. I'm sorry to hear that you've been struggling, tho. I've had Seasonal Affective Disorder myself, and have treated it with light therapy. It responded well since it was mild. I later began working nights, and it oddly went away. 🤷‍♀ That doc would use me for an example! 😆Night work is definitely not my first choice, nor is the career in which I work, but I do get by. Some months I wonder how I will, especially lately.
    But look at you with how green and leafy your area is! I live in the northern US, and our trees are just starting to bud, although the grass is very green due to all the snow. Honestly, it perks me up to see your trees, and your beautiful faces. So you have brightened someone else's life. 🌳
    I think that is one cure for the doldrums---to help someone. I don't mean to sound preachy. When I can manage to do so, it helps me think better of myself, and battles the hopelessness. And when someone helps me, it gives me hope and faith in folks, so thank you and Sophie! She is in heaven on her bike ride, taking in the sights, going FAST, and sniffing everything. 🚲 She missed that so much.
    My little Yorkie in my avatar passed away a year ago next month at 16. It certainly was a dark time. But shortly after Christmas, I was able to rescue Minnie. She's a little chihuahau and terrier of some sort, I think Border since she has a beard, mustache, and a tiny mohawk. 😄 She's much cuddlier than my boy, and I really enjoy and need that---it reminds me of how cuddly Sophie is.
    Please take us along for the journey wherever it may lead. I know you will be able to make a plan to make the most of your life, even if for right now it's just staying in each moment and finding the everyday joys.

    • @NessaandSophie
      @NessaandSophie  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your message! Minnie sounds like an adorable little cuddle bug, these little babies give us the most amazing kind of love, don't they? 💜 I'm going to have to look into the light therapy for sure, see if that helps, I'm willing to try anything. Thanks for watching and following along. 😊

    SO happy to see a video from the two of you again!! I have missed you both! Nessa, you were actually the reason that I decided on getting a Cavapoo and we are picking him up on May 4th and I can’t even explain to you how much I have enjoyed your videos and how excited I am to hear that you will be posting more content just in time for me to get my precious new baby!! To say the least, you help more people than you know!! If you are looking for a new line of work I have an idea!!! What about looking into something that has to do with Pet Therapy?? That sounds, to me, like it would be just the type of career for a person with your obvious total love for animals!! Just some suggestions besides getting enough sun and seeing a professional, if you need to. I have been a nurse for over 20 years and have seen just how bad S.A.D can be, so please be sure to look into the therapy that works for you (and Sophie)!! Thank you for being you and thank you for taking us along for the ride! You are amazing!!!

      @NessaandSophie  ปีที่แล้ว

      Your comment has made my day! 💜 Congratulations on your adoption, please send me updates and questions, I can't wait to know more! I actually haven't considered working with animals, I might have to look into that a little bit more and see what my options are, thanks for the suggestion. I'm definitely looking into something for S.A.D symptoms, so many of you have been helping me figure that out and I want to see if something will work. Thanks for watching and I can't wait to hear about your new puppy! 😊

      You would be a good dog trainer. Seems like that comes natural for you! Sophie is very smart ! You have taught her what certain things mean,. I think Sophie would be great as a pet therapist/support animal at hospitals , school's and elderly patients who are feeling down. In a way Sophie already has experience by helping you! She helps me too. I like seeing her being happy camper! She is Adooooooorable!!!

    Hi Nessa, thank you so much for posting.
    I have my own puppy cavapoo and he is such a joy, but he has helped me realise that no job is worth feeling bad about, whether you are located.
    It has helped my mental health soo much to find a job that OSS more flexible and let me spend time seeing the people that I love and doing things that I love. You can always get another job (as hard as it may seam) but you’ll never get the time back!
    I love your videos, please continue to post if it works for you !

    Nessa . It is perfectly normal for you to feel the way you do. You are right…everything is way too expensive and crazy! Things will get better….you’ll see. You have the best personality and you are just adorable. I am old enough to be your mother, and trust me, everyone goes through what you are feeling. You’re a brave, smart, loving, compassionate, beautiful person and you will figure out the right change you need. When it’s cold and gloomy out, I love this time to clean the house, re-arrange furniture, bing watch some good TV series, read some good books, plan your new career path. You will be an asset for any company that would be lucky enough to get someone like you. Might you be able find something that you could work from home? so you could be with Sophie ? or is that not possible in your line of work.We all love you and Sophie! 💖

      Thank you so much for your kind words, I know this too will pass and planning next steps is definitely a good thing for me to focus on right now. I love that you mentioned working from home, I think I'm a little (A LOT) obsessed with Sophie and finding a line of work that could allow the possibility to be with her more might be a good option. P.S. I love decluttering when the weather is gloomy! 😊

    • @NessaandSophie
      @NessaandSophie  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      LOL I have gotta agree with that diagnosis, but hey "we're canadian, we got to get used to it" (that's an actual quote from my doctor if you can believe it). I've been looking into some treatment plans and I definitely feel like we have to do research for ourselves when our bodies keep telling us something isn't right.
