Hi Lon, has the option to transfer files from an sd card to the internal memory been added yet? I want to be able to use the Sandisk to upload images from an sd card to the internal memory so that when on holiday the Sandisk acts as extra memory to my iPad Air which only has 3Gb spare unless I delete loads of stuff on the iPad.
Im having trouble with mine... Starting to piss me of. Everytime i start it up and connect with My iPhone the flashdrive shots Down after 10 sec. Doesnt happen with My iPad but the iPhone makes it shut Down. Anyone know why?
Honestly I am very confused Lon. I have a ton of movies on a normal hard drive. Usually before I leave home I transfer the files to my ipad. How willl this help? I guess I am mainly confused on what this device really does?
So this is what I woudo do?-- Connect my hard drive to my PC. connect the media drive also to the pc? transfer the movies from hard drive to media drive and then my ipad can grab the movies off rhe media drive? I understand if im home and i have internet connection i can just "stream" it but if im going on a trip i have to pick which movies i want prior to leaving correct? I cant just be on a train with no internet and have acces to those movies right?
Kingston mobilelite is a lot better if you are considering to buy this. It does everything the sandisk can do, other than have internal storage, but makes up for it with SD card slot, USB flash drive input, and can also take your portable HDD.
Thanks Lon. It sounds complicated. I am also looking at the Air Stash to see if this does the instructions don't say. Maybe someone kind like you has done a utune clip.
Depends on what size the game is and yes you can store the games but not play them on a mobile device but maybe plug it into a computer and download the game off the drive
Shame, I was hoping this could be used to play console ROMs from so I could play them either from my phone or PC, instead of transferring the card from on to the next.
on the sandisk media drive can i put the sd card in and copy the files to the drive and then hook it up to my computer and get them off?
can i take the memory card out of the connect and replace it with a larger capacity ?

Hi, for SanDisk Connect Wireless Media Drive, do u think i can use a Mac and wirelessly upload file to the media drive using any web browser ?
Can i transfer music and video files to an Iphone from this flash drive (not stream) so that it appears in my music app and in my camera roll?
