Read the interview they did with Gamespot I think it was when it was first released,they don't seem to want to understand that advertising features that don't exist in the game currently usually is called a lie. Also this is the first instance I've heard of where steam stepped in after they began closing every thread that critized them on Steam,for the stupidest reason I've ever heard of.

jake38ful DayZ isn't bad, I loved the mod. Problem is, the current build of DayZ has less features than the mod did. Rust is so much smoother as well.

TheNZMARINE Rust is still beta too though. But you're right, once DayZ implements vehicles again, I would heavily consider paying for the standalone. Until then, I'll take my chances with Rust, because Garry Newman will not fail me. :P

Not to mention all that stuff like FTB which is all free as well which adds hours and hours of potential gameplay and replayability to the game as well. Why spend money on a minecraft ripoff when you can have the real thing.

Look up Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing (on Wikipedia then TH-cam), another game under Sergey Titov. A game so bad, they didn't even bother putting in the enemy AI. That guy has a reputation.

Arthur Dent I actually disagree, I find Day Z SA pretty boring at the moment, that's just my opinion though, right now I have more fun on I:SS than I do on Day Z SA, but I prefer Day Z mod over ISS but I'm pretty sure when the SA becomes more stable and more features are added it will completely dominate both the Day Z Mod AND I:SS

Wow, people are still defending this game. It's not even that this is a bad game that makes it funny, it's how dishonest and greedy the devs are that make it so surprising to me that people still defend it. Ample evidence has been given of their strong arm and thug tactics to shut down criticism in their forums as well as trying to get back at those wanting refunds as well as their recycled game assets and other cheap shortcuts to put out a zombie game as quickly as possible to cash in on a craze. Not only that, they changed the name of the game solely to try and net in a few more stupid people who don't look into what they're buying before they put money down on it.

I tried to talk to the guys at the forums and I can't get any answer at all. I asked why do they still play even though there are hackers directly and immediatly after that, a moderator ceased the conversation.

I clicked the link to the game's Steam page, and in an interesting coincidence, it was rebooted by a different developer ten days ago after being shut down four years ago. I can't even imagine enjoying a game like this. The fundamental gameplay is completely unappealing, for the same reasons I have no interest in battle royale shooters.
Valve doesn't care about gaming or gamers any more, they only care about the green!

coolcat1711 actually valve threatened the people making infestation because they were perma baning people on the forums who were complaining, stopped alot of the forward progress of the development of the game, while telling people they were working hard. Valve stepped in and said "look our community took a chance with you, straighten up or we'll send refunds and ban You." trust me they fixed it up, it's gotten SO much better. infact it's getting better every update. trust me i play it and am not a big fan of it. i have not recomended it to anyone. BUT, i will say, valve did a good job making sure that games devs got on there shit, changed a few devs if im not mystaken.

coolcat1711 no worries, i got the game with the sale that started the big thing with valve, alot of us steam users were amped for what we read for this game, then got it and got on the forums and BAM, banned from the game by moderator, lol, me and a few buddies and other steam users aparently becuase about 5 or 6 thousand of us in thirty seconds sent steam support tickets in. long story short, it impressed me how much valve stuck up for there community.

Only TotalBiscuit can drag someone through the dirt brutaly for 40 minutes..I loved every second of it. Keep saying what we are thinking good sir..they need to hear it.

there are safe NPC zones in this game which surprisingly have no guards just two NPCs a dude that controls your vault and a general store!

I think the warz had a great idea, but pulled it off horribly. They wanted a more arcadey/action version of dayz. I think a good example of this being pulled off nicely is nether, which it seems to be what the warz wanted to be.
