This is a nice balance of white wash to camo. This makes for a much more visually interesting finish. The chipping/mapping really adds interest to the whitewash
Hi Lukasz, that is absolutely outstanding, I did try whitewash, once but it was not a great success, so that kit will now be a test tank, for painting, but I am looking forward to trying this method again, I also look forward to the next update, keep safe and well, best regards to you and your family from a Kiwi living in Australia.
If you brush paint you can use AK additive that you mix in the paint then you can brush it on and then chip it...I use it a bit..if you arent too fussy applying the paint,it works.
Fantastic video my friend great tutorial well explained looks amazing some nice builds at the start keep the great content coming and thanks for sharing 👍👍
Your white winter camouflage looks almost 3D like 😳😳😳 stunning in a word 🤩🤩🤩 the different affects you used AND the discretion were extremely useful as I have no idea what half these fancy words mean 🤪🤣😂 I’m old so forgive my stupidity 🥴🥴🥴 I thought the little spat you did on the front glacis plate was beautiful and very realistic. I’ve looked at many photographs of these types of camouflage and the runs, brush marks, and overlapping paint levels has always baffled me… how do I get that effect… thanks to you I no longer wonder, I know exactly what to do now 🤓🤓🤓 Thanks again for another truly brilliant video 🙏🤓😍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@coldemonspl THANK YOU !!! Your time and effort in producing these wonderful videos for us IS very much appreciated my friend 🙏🙏🙏 as I said, I’m old, and stupid, so get confused with all the technical terminology 🥴🥴🥴 you still use it but you give a great description of what it actually means 🤪😳😂 to me that is worth it’s weight in gold… so again THANK YOU very much 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍👍👍
Mike Rinaldi says that Tamiya mixed with water is the best, but it doesn't work for me. I did some hairpspray/chipping fluid just today using AK real colors mixed with Mr.Hobby self levelling (laquer) thinner. It worked way better than Tamiya mixed with water. Talkin' about white wash: keeping the brush clean of dilluted white paint all the time takes away the natural effect of worn out "Kalk". I know the tank isn't finished yet, so too early to judge, but looking at original photos you can observe lots of transparent white areas, looking just like something you called unwanted "filter". Nevertheless the Kingtiger looks more and more outstanding. Keep up the good work!
Yes, I know exactly what you mean with the white paint filter. The most important thing is to know that something like this can arise and to answer the question whether you want to have it or not. I decided to make it fairly clean because later I will add other effects. Thanks for comment! :)
Outstanding work my friend! You have a passion, or just like, heavy tanks. In your presentation you showed some of the best work on German and Russian heavy tanks I have seen. The King Tiger looks terrific. The winter camo you are applying to the tank, in the video, looks awesome. I noticed that you applied just enough white paint, and you were scrapping just enough white, that made your tank look very classy. Can you tell me what size brush you were using? Kudos to you, my friend. Great work.
Azzy, thatnk you very much for your kind words about my work. I tried to do my best but you know, some experience I have helped a lot during this process. I used different old brushes for scrapping. It is not so important. They are just old and worn. For painting small white highlights I used 3/0 or even 5/0 brushes. :)
@@coldemonspl Thank you so much for getting back to me so quick and for answering my question about the brushes. You do terrific work and I learned a lot from you. Again, thank you and Kudos...
It is quite simple - first it is a model and it has to be eye-catching so different colors will do it. Secondly, it is highly probable that the soldiers painted where their hand was, so they didnt go upstairs. Whatever the explanation is, it will be good. :)

That was the goal of all this camo work. I think I achieved a good result and it will look even better after the weathering. :)

It will be very soon but first I need to make suspension weathering and glue it on place. So this will be the next video.

How about a E100 with the Krupp turret? There’s virtually nothing on this vehicle on YT.
Maybe in the future but for now I have the queue with other models. :)
Hi 👋🏼
I don't get it 🤔
Why hull roof has winter camo but turret did not?

Pokazał byś wszystkie twoje modele projekty
Krzychu, jedyne co mogę zaproponowac to zdjęcia bo nie mam nic w domu ze zdrobionych modeli. :)
