I don’t know how to answer that. I guess I had limited tools when I started as a kid & hence used what I had which was a pair of scissors & a pen knife. And that habit continued on. Shows that one doesn’t need lots of or expensive tools to enjoy this hobby. 🙂
I’m not too sure but it’s quick & can be made to go quicker because of the direct drive. This is one of my fav vids for this chassis that gives you an idea. Check it out th-cam.com/video/Lae12zLTeGU/w-d-xo.html
Beautiful!
Thank you. Group C sports cars are one of my favorites.
Nice job . I have one of these saem kits on the way. Can't wait to get it together and on the shelf.
Awesome! Great to hear that. 🙂
Nice. I like that it came with the finished wheels.
Unfortunately it didn’t. These were separately painted earlier.
Nice!!! Its my favorite Group C car. I love the XJR12 Silk Cut
Yeah they are great! Hope Tamiya rereleases this like the C11 Merc so more of us can enjoy.
I built and drove this back in 1991 and the thing I remember most was just how smooth and well behaved it was compared to Tamiya F1 cars at the time.
I think the wider track & more forgiving bathtub type chassis helps a lot. They are a blast to drive.
Love Tamiya's Group C stuff. They definitely need the cockpit added IMO.
Completely agree with you. Tamiya should bring back that hop-up.
@@t-studioworks Somebody has started making them, Tamiya Facebook groups will know (I can't remember who).
@@Chunky246 it's Dino DiGiorgio

very nice. I still have my original. Never driven.
The jag is a real icon. Great to see that Tamiya is rereleasing the Mercedes C11.
@@t-studioworks - I'm such a twit. I too long to make up my mind and missed the pre-order. 🥺
@@michaelandrew4488 hope you are still able to get one. I have one from the 1st rerelease & it’s great. 🙂
Why don’t you use cutter?

Hallo Rc friends. Can i still somewhere this kitt? Thanks
Hi Edmond, once in a while a kit like this comes up for sale in ebay or Japan auction sites. It’s getting rare these days though.
What is the max speed?
