Everyone who reads this should watch the tool be used on QueenKataay’s channel. Milabu has it posted in the description box. But damn does this thing work.
I just bought one and tried it the other day - OMG - I have poofy kinky frizzy hair and this Tymo is the only iron I have bought that actually takes the kink out of my hair. One part of my bangs is so hard to keep smooth and not wavy but this did the trick. I am in Florida - I got caught in the rain (which is pretty bad for my kind of hair) and it still is smooth. I am in love!
There are a lot of videos that also show you how to get the blowout effect super easy with this when you have long hair basically just flipping it upwards at the end
I ordered the tymo before I finished watching this video. I must have caught it right before it went out of stock. I ordered it 9/6/2019 and it was delivered on 9/8/2019. No wait for me. I cannot tell you how much I love this. I have long, mostly thick hair. My hair isn’t curly but does this weird wave that is hard to get out. The tymo worked like a champ! I am so impressed. I have one spot that the curl doesn’t come out no matter what tool I use. The tymo at least smoothed the curl to a barely there wave, much better than anything else. I was tempted to buy the expensive brush months ago but am so glad that I waited. Thank you! 🥰
Just got the Tymo Ring at Xmas because of your review and it's AWESOME. Never seen anything like this before. Honestly, this is really a good buy. I'm using it every single day and am totally in love with the product. For those with thick long hair that gets messy, tangled etc. don't hesitate. Better job than my Babyliss straightener, that says it all!
If this means I can wash my wavy hair, let it dry naturally and then spend half the time I usually do on a blowout (I spend an hour twice a week), I am ordering now. Thank you for sharing the perspective of an individual with long hair, I can see immediately that my daughter will love, love, love this!
I have just purchased the GHD brush and the first time of using I was unsure. Having used it three times more I love it. I have super curly hair I let it air dry and then use the brush and super straight with one pass. I do comb the section before using the brush and the brush goes through hair so much easier not so much drag on the hair. I also like the fact that I can give my hair some movement so very pleased with my GHD brush
I love that tymo not only gives faster results and much smoother to use, but also gives good volume if done from bottom. I have NEVER straightened hair myself before and tymo looks like a good Brush to start.
Do not purchase this it is garbage, and I have to pay a postage and shipping fee to return it back to the company they can't even cover the shipping fee after sending items to people that they know don't work. That is what I call horrible business practices. Your comment is a lie
I bought the TYMO months back, but I didn’t use it for the first time until this last week mainly because when I thought I was going to use it for when I had hair down to the middle of my back, I was a little intimidated by it but I cut my hair off to being a just above the shoulder lob recently and so I use it this last week. 0MG I love this device. It is awesome. I agree with you 100%. It goes through the hair very smoothly. It straightens her hair very quickly, and your hair is incredibly soft. I’ve also been using the eight second miracle water on my end and that does so much. Do you protect your hair as well, so great job guys thank you so much.
Bought one because of the video. It arrived today and it is amazing just as you see in the video! I have thick, frizzy, wavy, very long hair and it did an even better job than blow drying and flat ironing. Highly recommend.
Do not purchase this it is garbage, and I have to pay a postage and shipping fee to return it back to the company they can't even cover the shipping fee after sending items to people that they know don't work. That is what I call horrible business practices. Yeah I just bought one too because of the video and I regret doing so this thing is horrible they don't work there's complaints all over Facebook complaints with BBB this thing doesn't work and whoever says it does they're getting paid to say it works
Half way thru the video and I'm buying this. I watched that other review too. I have crazy thick curly hair. Happening. Thank you for bringing this in my life. And it's on sale rn!!
This is the video that made me buy the Tymo and I do not regret it. Her friends hair is like mine. I have fine hair, but it’s a lot and my hair is about as curly as Milabu. So I have a mix of both of them and layers and the Tymo helped me straighten my hair in like 45 mins compared to the 1 1/2 - 2 hrs it would take me with a straightener.
I bought this because of you! I'm cutting my long hair short in a week and a half and I have thick curly/wavy hair so hopefully this will encourage me to straighten my hair more often cuz I'm SO LAZY.
It is a miracle I have never in 46 years of fighting curls found something that worked like this another thing I noticed is when I flat iron my hair and walk out the door in Florida you immediately sweat and are exposed to humidity so if you flat ironed it it's almost ruined by the time you get to the car even being soaked in sweat this stays perfectly straight in the back but when you Wash it your normal curl pattern comes right back
Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for this video. I have been having trouble with my old clamp style hair straightener due to limited mobility issues. I have been looking for an alternative and this looked good to me, I have very thick hair with large curls. Seeing Macy use this and how well it did for her thicker hair sold me. I just got the 'cheaper' TYMO and used it for the first time today and I am extremely satisfied. With my mobility issues it will take me a few tries to get it perfectly right but it still took me a quarter of the time it usually does with my old straightener and I was not left cramping and in pain as much as usual. Definitely worth the purchase. Thank you again!
Can you please do a comparison between the brush you love here and the Revlon one-step hair dryer/brush? I really love your comparisons and would be interested to see the difference in these two. Thanks!
Elizabeth Larrauri Is the power button supposed to blink when it’s off? I just got mine today and it worked great on my hair but the power button has not stopped blinking. It appears to be off and is cool to the touch. Is this normal?
Well, I bought it. It didn’t work as well on my hair because it’s not as long as yours. I’m letting it grow so I’m hoping for a better outcome when it’s longer. Your hair always looks great no matter what you do to it 😁👍🏻
No I dont think so u May can flip the ends but that’s about it. I love this thing so much!! Takes like 6 minutes to straighten my whole head when it takes 20 or more with a straightener
It would be awesome if you would do a review of this one vs their new version that is more of a paddle brush that instead of the rounded "comb". The new one has ionic technology, but I don't know, it seems like the original one might get closer to your scalp for more root volume, but I don't know. The original also seems less bulky. It might depend on your hair type. I have hair that is already pretty straight, but if I don't wash, I have to get out kinks from sleeping with it in a high pony tail. I also like a lot of volume. It would be nice if you could do a video with them both!
Could you do a video about different ways to style your hair with the TYMO? HTinking about ordering it, but I'd love to see some more stylings other than straight before I order
Thank you! A few years ago you showed the Revlon oval shaped round brush dryer - and my hubby got it for me for a bday - still my favorite hair tool! Now, time for a fresh look. Thanks for the tip!
I ended up purchasing the Tymo brush that you reviewed in the video and loved it so much that I ordered a 2d one for my gym bag. However when ordering I saw that they had an upgraded version that has more of a flat brush head vs. the contraption that is on the original version so I ordered that instead. The newer version with the brush is definitely easier to use and does a great job but I'm on the fence about which one is better. I almost feel that the first version does a better job with shine. I'd be interested in your opinion between the two Tymo versions.......Also just wanted to comment that this brush is a game changer for me. I have combo hair that is straight at the roots and very kinky on the bottom. The only way to get my hair straight is to use a blow dryer and top it off with a flat iron to seal and for the shine. If I let my hair dry naturally then try to straighten with a flat iron not only did it take a long time but it just would not come out as straight and shiny as it did with a blowout. With this Tymo brush I am able to let my hair dry naturally then comb it straight in under 10 minutes and it looks as good or better than it did with a blowout.
Hi Milabu I just wanted to say thankyou so much for this review . I live in dubai and I just ordered this from amazon US through your link and It just blew my mind . Super soft and straight
9 mos later and I recently found this video. I also watched your earlier video, with Macy, where you try other straightening brushes. I bought the Tymo Ring from Amazon and tried it last night. So awesome! I love it!! I’m already telling everyone about it and sharing pics! Thank you! And thanks to Macy! My hair is very similar to hers, more so in the other video. Mine is thick, coarse, and wavy, esp the underneath layers.
Hi Milabu! I'm so inspired to buy the Tymo brush after seeing your video but I'm confused now as there are two variants : Tymo Ring and Tymo Ionic.. Please suggest which one is a better deal.
I bought this thing and it does the weirdest thing. It makes your hair look wet as it comes out, but that goes away when you brush it. I am assuming it’s pulling the moisture out and that’s what you’re seeing?
Millie Griffiths I was thinking the same thing & it grosses me out that they’re sharing & the oil is getting transferred :( But this was a great review on both products!
You both did such a convincing job on this video. I'm ordering the TYMO right now (and of course using your link ;) You earned it ladies. Thanks for the video! God bless!
Yeah such a convincing job that I bought one. Do not purchase this it is garbage, and I have to pay a postage and shipping fee to return it back to the company they can't even cover the shipping fee after sending items to people that they know don't work. That is what I call horrible business practices.
I did see on there that a customer asked if it had rounded plates like the one in this review and TYMO replied that the plates are flat and that it's slightly larger with rubberized bristles. I'm curious to see how that will change the final look.
Hi. I tried both of them. The TYMO RING rounder one, is suitable for my hair which is wavy breaks easy bleached blonde and with a mid-setting works great. TYMO IONIC flat bristle larger plates, is too heavy for my hair and seemed hotter even on a mid setting and is more suitable for longer thicker hair. Hope this helps.
@@Angelabryan2 it's not a negative comment, it's a warning that her video is being used without her permission .. and the fact that you scrolled down to a comment from a year ago says enough about your comment...
WOW! Waiting for my paycheck & hoping my bills dont drain my account before I get my hands on this brush! Thanks for the review Milabu ❤ *Side note* : I am extremely happy for your success! I remember when you had less that 1k subscribers! Look at you now ❤❤❤ congrats girly 😘
There's a newer version of this by the same brand but with a different brush design and with digital temp gauge. Do you think you could review it and compare the two by TYMO?
I still ended up going with the GHD Glide and I like it so far but there is a bit of a learning curve. Yours is one of the only videos of someone sectioning hair and actually using it correctly. :)
Love your reviews! If I just purchased a Loreal steampot 3.0 (after your review), should I also get a Tymo? I just want to avoid two products serving an extremely similar purposes.
completely trust your opinion so went to the TYMO Beauty site and ordered direct. I live in Australia and including postage it was $100 - everything to Australia is expensive and the conversion rate is 60c in the US$ so that sucks too............but I had to have it lol
Hi Milabu, greetings from Spain. Which is in your opinion the best straightener brush comb for bleached and fine hair? (I guess like yours). I think you've tried a lot, so would you please be so kind and let me know your honest opinion? I'm looking for one for me ... Thanks in advance for you reply.
Hope Michiels watch Julissa Guillén, he hair is supper curly and long, she has a video about this product, you’ll be speechless, this product is insanely great... I’m just a TH-cam video watcher, nothing to do with hair products,I don’t have much experience in the subject but I became obsessed about the TYMO and I started watching videos ever since because I cannot believe the price on this excellent product..
All these people making comments about her hair not being curly seriously need mental health care. If you feel triggered to the extent that you have to comment on a TH-cam message boards, because somebody who has slightly less curly hair than you has the audacity to call their hair curly, please locate your closest safe space and stay there. Your hyper sensitive emotions require a level of coddling that should prevent you from interacting with all normal well-functioning adults in society. Better yet, next time you're at your job and you're slightly less curly haired co-worker refers her hair as curly, make sure to tell her how offended you are. And please for the love of God video tape it. I would pay to watch it. People got some serious privilege if they have to look this hard to be offended. People who have less curly hair than you, still have curly hair. Even wavy hair is a type of curly hair, it's just a different pattern. Get over yourself. Please.
protect yourself protect yourself I think the only one who needs to locate a safe space in this comment section is you, my friend. No one is offended, or being mean to the nice girl in the video - her hair type is just wavy, and it’s insanely beautiful btw.
Hi, I had the same question & from what I researched the Tymo comb/Tymo Ring (the one in this video) is made up of a set of semicircular straightening plates that you hair glides through. The new Tymo brush is more like the Amika & Ghd 'glide' straightening brushes - they have things that look like 'bristles' on a brush (but they are solid, not flexible) & coated with, basically, mini hot plates on each 'bristle'. I'm making it sound way more complicated than it is, sorry! If you Google the Amika straightening brush (or Ghd glide brush) I hope you'll understand what I mean lol! The Tymo comb creates less tension & glides through hair, the 'brush' style tools create slightly more tension but they do a very similar job. From my experience the Tymo comb gives results very similar to a flat iron as you can get closer to the root than you can with a brush tool. (I have the Amika brush & the tymo comb = why I'm being overly descriptive lol. Overall I prefer the Tymo comb because I don't need to touch up with a flat iron afterwards!) Hope that helps!
I love your videos and your advises have really helped me to achieve cool hair styles. Just wanted to know whenever I do a ponytail or a professional bun my hair doesn't look put together because of fly aways. What can I use, I have fine, frizzy and wavy hair. Please reply, I have seen all of your videos and not sure if you mention anything for frizzy hair Thanks in advance 😊
Wow, worth checking out. Is it possible to clean though? I have the ghd Glide and Drybar brush crush and by far prefer the Glide. I like the tension the Glide creates, and find I can get close to my roots if I hold it flat against my scalp to start. The Drybar doesn't hold an even temp imo. The Glide is easier to clean because I can fit a comb between the bristles and use a wet wipe or kleenex to clean the inevitable gunk that accumulates.
@@crystaltheo8494 I don't have to watch Milabu, but I do. Why? because I like her videos;, they are fun and informative. Therefore I will keep supporting her. It was only a suggestion and I wasn't aggressive about it in any way. Also, the title said "For all hair types", so I would like to see it on hair similar to mine, but i am not demanding it. She can take my suggestion or not, and either is fine. Your comment was unnecessary.
I watched this video several times before I purchased the TYMO hair straightener last month and I finally used it last week (I had eye surgery in between). I didn't have as smooth of a time as you...first it grabbed (or should I say it ate some of my hair) :(...second I think it was frying my hair a little, I had it on 4, then turned it down to 3...I heard my hair sizzling...not a good sound. I couldn't get it straight in one pass. My question to you...did you have any styling products in your hair or only heat protectant?. My hair is just above my shoulders and it was sooo much harder than you showed in your video...I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. I know it's been a while since you recorded this video, but am hoping to get a reply from you...Thank you...Nina
Have you ever done a tutorial on the type of hair brushes that you use? It's so hard to find the correct type. I lost 80% of my hair due to a head injury and what has grown back is all fine and virgin, like the hair of a 5yr old girl...and being 54 yrs old, it's beautiful, blonde and soft...no grey. :) Thank you for the help.
If you're trying to get this from Amazon, it's out of stock but you can pre-order and will be available September 20th

Is her hair wet or just really greasy? The one with the long hair
Millie Griffiths I was thinking the same 🤔
Greasy ewwww
Bohdan Terletskyi lmfaooo ok
I bought this thing and it does the weirdest thing. It makes your hair look wet as it comes out, but that goes away when you brush it. I am assuming it’s pulling the moisture out and that’s what you’re seeing?
Millie Griffiths I was thinking the same thing & it grosses me out that they’re sharing & the oil is getting transferred :(
But this was a great review on both products!
Wait! Could you use it to curl too? I really want to know if this could fully replace my straightener
Any time I need new hair tools I always check your channel first! I actually might buy this 😍
I just ordered the Tymo, and I can’t wait to try it out.
Would you be willing to test the newer version of this styling tool (it’s the ionic one). I’d like to see a comparison between the two! 😃
Is there already a newer version? I saw that on Amazon too.
Wtf, the first commercial i get is a fake one in witch they use your review of the revlond for another brand!
Same 😄
I was like wtf?!
Now that's been floating around for a while. Unfortunately it's really hard for TH-camrs to put a stop to that nonsense.
🧙♀️ 🙈🙊
If your going to leave a negative comment atleast learn to spell or Google how to spell the words.
@@Angelabryan2 it's not a negative comment, it's a warning that her video is being used without her permission .. and the fact that you scrolled down to a comment from a year ago says enough about your comment...
Thank You for taking the time to share this with us. Very helpful video!
WOW! Waiting for my paycheck & hoping my bills dont drain my account before I get my hands on this brush! Thanks for the review Milabu ❤
*Side note* : I am extremely happy for your success! I remember when you had less that 1k subscribers! Look at you now ❤❤❤ congrats girly 😘
Is this good to use on damaged, bleached, frizzy hair?
There's a newer version of this by the same brand but with a different brush design and with digital temp gauge. Do you think you could review it and compare the two by TYMO?
Hello :), what’s the newer version called?
I still ended up going with the GHD Glide and I like it so far but there is a bit of a learning curve. Yours is one of the only videos of someone sectioning hair and actually using it correctly. :)
Love your videos! I find myself smiling throughout them! Thanks for great info and plenty of smiles :)
Love your reviews! If I just purchased a Loreal steampot 3.0 (after your review), should I also get a Tymo? I just want to avoid two products serving an extremely similar purposes.
We're waiting it in Italy... Tymo come here!!!
completely trust your opinion so went to the TYMO Beauty site and ordered direct. I live in Australia and including postage it was $100 - everything to Australia is expensive and the conversion rate is 60c in the US$ so that sucks too............but I had to have it lol
How did it wear throughout the day?
had straight hair for 3 days until I washed on my 4th day :)
I'm definitely picking up "The New Kid"!! 😉 Thanks! 😊
May I know the name of the brush?
Hi Milabu, greetings from Spain. Which is in your opinion the best straightener brush comb for bleached and fine hair? (I guess like yours). I think you've tried a lot, so would you please be so kind and let me know your honest opinion? I'm looking for one for me ... Thanks in advance for you reply.
I just bought this, will be delivered today can not wait to try!
“Curly and super thick” im seeing wavy straight hair not curly
Deion it works well on curly hair
There is no such thing as 'straight hair and wavy'. Either you have curly hair of some level (2, 3, 4) or you have straight hair. Period
Sunnivah13 you’re a white woman with straight hair. Sit this one out
Sunnivah’s curl pattern is 2a , yes its very minimal but still considered a curl. What does her race have to do with anything?
Lina Lopez 2a is not even in the same conversation as curly m’am
Thanks for the honest review, love your vids🫶
I grabbed the Rinfy you tried and i honestly love it!!!
If you say it’s great, I have to have it! Just bought it! Excited to try it 😀
Question if you could only have one would it be this or the Hot Tools Brush dryer ?
Well I know what I’m asking for this year for my birthday!! Lol
Next time we need a real curly head girl 😂
Hope Michiels watch Julissa Guillén, he hair is supper curly and long, she has a video about this product, you’ll be speechless, this product is insanely great... I’m just a TH-cam video watcher, nothing to do with hair products,I don’t have much experience in the subject but I became obsessed about the TYMO and I started watching videos ever since because I cannot believe the price on this excellent product..
Rude
I agree that ain’t curl lol 😂 nothing wrong with her hair but that ain’t curly hair lol it’s wavy
I'd like to try the Amazon hair comb. Do they sell it anywhere in the stores. Truly love your videos.
I watched this video for like 4 minutes, then decided I had to have a Tymo in my life. xD
I just bought one but haven't use it yet. Wow! Look at that 😶 so Amazing. 👏👏❤️❤️❤️💚💚💚💐💐
Would you compare it to Rifny??
Milabu! I am buying the TYMO brand because of you. Hahaha! I am loving your channel! Kisses from Germany!❤
Gina Olila where you get it from?
@@agapoula82 Hello! Sorry for responding late! Got it from tymo website itself. It really works!❤
Gina Olila thank you ☺️
Hi, do you know what’s the difference between the Tymo comb and the Tymo New Ionic brush ?
Overall I prefer the Tymo comb because I don't need to touch up with a flat iron afterwards!)
Hope that helps!
Also with the glide you comb down the top hair to smooth it out the top if you have flyaway and theb under
Ordered! Thanks for the review! Does Macy have anything in her hair? It looks a little slick.
Dor Tex it looks oily
It might have been wet like in the other video with the other brush that we tried haha
I guess I shouldn’t have bought the other one after you tested it and loved it. Can’t get another one, that would be crazy.
I would like to see this tool tried on type 3 curls 😊
Then find another youtuber. Cant give you something they dont have.
@@crystaltheo8494 this video said it was for all hair types. I only see one hair type here. This is not the voewers fault; the title is pure clickbait
Hey there can you tell me how long the effect lasts??
Have you ever done a tutorial on the type of hair brushes that you use? It's so hard to find the correct type. I lost 80% of my hair due to a head injury and what has grown back is all fine and virgin, like the hair of a 5yr old girl...and being 54 yrs old, it's beautiful, blonde and soft...no grey. :) Thank you for the help.
I want to see you use it as a regular brush. From the front to the nape.
I was wondering how it would work if used like a regular brush too. I feel like it could have been easier.
