I love that hair straightener, after washing and blow drying my hair my hair look amazing and that was the first time that I was straightening my hair myself, don’t burn your scalp and make it easy
the vavavoom is how the ends get straight. i find that i usually have to bump the end...and then if i want bone straight hair i have to wrap it (but i dont really wrap my hair so i never do that i pin curl it). i love this brush. way better than a flat iron and i prefer the texture it creates to bone straight hair. i also think its way quicker than flat ironing bc you can do larger amounts of hair.

You should! I used the tiniest amount of the heat protectant and I added Olaplex No. 7 later. I love it though, the body is something I haven’t been able to achieve with my flat iron.

I have watched several videos of this product being used and why did all the ladies blow-dry their hair straight already? I am really interested in seeing the product used on hair that has not been completely blown dry straight already.
Well typically, when I flat iron my hair, I always blow dry it first-similar to how a stylist would do it. It’s actually a great tip for an overall sleeker smoother result compared to going from curly to straightening. I don’t think it would turn out as smooth if the hair was natural, but if you wanna see it just for kicks, let me know! Lol.
I was legitimately looking at one of these at Target today when I bought a bunch of natural hair products like Camille Rose honey leaving the intention of big chopping this weekend. I am still trying to decide if I'm going to big chop or transition for 6 months to a year before cutting off the relaxed ends. How does it do on transitioning hair I'm currently relaxed, and my last relaxer was about 4 or 5 months ago, so the texture of my relaxed hair is poofy and the texture of my roots is naturally curly and a little gray. My thumbnail picture is like 15 years old and a old wig that I used to love so much. I actually got more compliments on the curly wig than I ever got on my relaxed hair especially from my stylist girlfriends . Anyway , I wonder how well it works for transitioning hair, and if it could cause breakage or anything , my natural hair is like a type 3B if you go by hair typing. I have a medical condition and I do not want to continue to relax my hair, in the past year or two I've been doing it out of desperation but I'm done. I'm not looking forward to long-term transitioning but I look forward to having my own curly hair back. I'm a wash and go kind of girl I don't like braiding or twisting or parting my hair perfectly even though I know how to, I literally just want to be able to wear my hair curly or straight whenever I want without going to my stylist who is from the Dominican Republic . I would love to have long hair and my mom has waist length locks. I just want to take care of my hair myself and not spend a small fortune at the stylist as I have been doing since I was in my twenties and now I'm in my 40s about to be in my 50s. Thank you for bringing this review I might just buy one this weekend, I'm excited. I'm a new subscriber as well!
Welcome to the fam! I know transitioning can be hard to do! To cut or not to cut! You could transition to a certain point and then chop it once it’s long enough to make a pony tail or something like that. I would say the Tymo probably works similarly on relaxed hair as a flatiron would, just with less tension. You still wanna avoid too much heat. I recommended styling once, and trying to maintain the style without heat for as long as possible. I’m a little late responding so let me know what you decided! Hi Dylan! No you would not get burned, it had sort of like guards so if it touches your scalp you won’t feel the hot plates! Hope this helps!

Tymo is good bur does not last. I bought 2 on a separate occasion and they both stopped working within one year of purchase.

I think they have lifetime warranty. But I'm not sure. But I read it somewhere. So hit them up for a replacement
