    This is the only YT vid that compares these two products side by side. Thank you for this. I already have the Tymo ring (comb) but I find it cumbersome and awkward to use, I can't just "comb" it thru my hair. I think I'm gonna get the brush to handle the heavy lifting, then follow up with the comb to smooth out the top layer. Thanks again.

    I have the Tymo Ring and I absolutely love it! I have very curly 3C hair and it’s been a game changer. I’m curious about the Ionic brush because it looks like it could straighten larger sections at a time. I see that there was a lot of smoke coming out of your hair, I would suggest using less product or waiting for the product to fully dry before straightening so you don’t burn your hair. Great video!

    So, I’m watching this because I got the ring one, and it feels like it flattens my hair too much and also I cannot brush my hair whichever way with the ring - because of the ‘comb-like’ design of the ring, you can only brush your hair in a particular direction - I also have the GHD glide, which is fine, but it seems that the Tymo does a final smoothing effect. However, o am wondering whether to get the Tymo brush because it will be a ‘brush’ and not a comb - do let me know what people think...

    Hello I don't know if you'd be able to answer but I have pretty short hair and it's thick and curly. Would I be able to pass the comb through my hair directly touching my scalp like a normal hair brush?
    I'm talking about the ring brush more specifically

    • @WaitItsMeCarlos
      @WaitItsMeCarlos  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That’s a good question. I know that the ring brush doesn’t get to touch to the point it will burn you. But when I have personally used it I wouldn’t let the product stay in one position to long because it can get hot. I would love the brush around. Yes it would take a bit longer to straighten. But that was simply to avoid burning my scalp. But it did the wrong well.

    As someone with super thick natural curly hair I was never one to be able to use a traditional straightener and I’m like you I like my curly hair but I also would like to try to straighten it some and add looser curls in it and I think I could use one of these products especially now that my hair is shorter and where I have trouble with one. I definitely think I’m going to look in to one of these. Which would you recommend me trying?

    • @WaitItsMeCarlos
      @WaitItsMeCarlos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I personally enjoy the Ionic brush one. The one that visually looks like a brush. Granted I may need to take a bit longer since it’s a bit more spaced out. But I like bigger loose curls. So what I do if use my ionic brush so it’s a nice flat style. Which literally does help cut down on time for a blow dryer or a single flatiron. Then I go in with a curling iron and I get the bigger loose curls and I love it.

    My tymo ring comb just came today and I tried it immediately. I like it very much. But, I have question. Does your product get heat all around the sides of the comb? Mine gets heat around the sides and I burned a bit.

      In regards to your question. Yes it does get a bit hot around the comb. I’m aware of that so I normally first put the heat on low then I slowly increase the heat level if I need too. But I still use mine and I have yet to experience any issues.

    And since my hair had grown all the way to a short bob as of this comment the Tymo brush I think is just perfect also for my bangs since I only needed it and no longer need a blowout. Although as far as I can see MKE's hair where the Comb was used is also good though it look weighed down and really flat but I find the Brush side much much smoother and voluminous and lustrous (or is it just me who noticed? 🤔)

      That’s a good question. In reality, we all know all heat products can be a bit damaging to our hair. I honestly feel the brush would be less. However, someone else would probably have a different opinion on that. But based on my own experience. I definitely say that brush model.

      No. I do have an oil heat hair protector in my hair when I did this video. I didn’t want heat damage. I always do that. I know some people don’t like that oily look. But I rather have healthy hair without the heat damage or at least minimize the heat damage.
