    I carry either the mini pendleton hunter or most often utica utk-n2. Utica is amazing it is probably my favorite.
    But lately ive been carrying the SRK-C. I really love it.
    Im thinking about the demko armiger4 clippoint mainly because i love 80cv.
    I do love 14c28n might have to try that watchman. Ive just read mixed reviews on their other blades. Nothing that it wasn't advertised steel just they were soft on heat treatment.
    I personally think esee is overpriced and a gimmick. Most knife companies honor warranty. If a knife i buy breaks with my usage. The last thing i want is another one. I mean I guess so? Idk how CRK can call such a simple handle and simple blade shape their own design and solely theirs when it's been around for decades upon decades, almost everything is copied off of something in some way. Now if it says CRK on the knife then id agree but to much simple there, do you know how many knives have that same basic look?

    • @darken8649
      @darken8649 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GBall_Vision you and Chubaka sure don't understand copyright infringement very well do you? If the shape is integral to the products design it is indeed copyrightable. As a custom knife maker myself, our signature design elements are literally our marks and what separates us from other people's work. Knife makers take it very seriously. It's not just that watchman made a similar knife, it's the exact same, they are intentionally cloning a design to manipulate the buyer to buy their product because it's a cheaper version of something expensive. That's what knock offs do. That's why it's always premium companies that get replicated, i.e. channel. Luis vuton, Rolex, Jordan's, etc. Their goal is to mislead people away from sales of the original company through underhanded means and it's not okay, and it's specially not okay for a "knife afficianado" to post about it. So yes very much shame on you, I hope TH-cam does something about you lame creators that just plead ignorance. You're a toxic detriment to the honest knife community.

      @@darken8649 that's like saying every knife that came out after the Bugout with a drop point and standard handle is a knockoff. All these blade shapes and handle configurations ALL were done way before CRK Benchmade and any other company were even started. Everything design has influence from something else. Which makes sense, there's only so many ways to do a blade and handle.
      I don't like "clones" meaning that when a company takes the company name and model and makes it look like it with all the branding of the original company

    • @darken8649

      @@GBall_Vision dude, you just don't get it. I'm saying that a Chinese company that is making a bugout clone is a knock off, I'm saying that the watchman is made to be a nayala clone. Do you not understand that? It is EXACTLY the same dimension, color even the patent pending kudu horn twist micarta, that Chris reeve literally has a patent for is the same. How else can I spell it out. Jesus. Look up Drexcel versus Vander if you want to know the specifics. It's not just another knife with a similar blade shape or similar color. The company that makes the watchman calls it an effing Chris reeve clone! Are you daft? They are targeting people that want a Chris reeve but cannot afford it. Just like when you go to Mexico and buy fake Oakley's etc. Stop trying to defend your bad judgements. The actual knife is on the u.s. customs black list. Do I need to explain it to you in Spanish? German perhaps? It's an effing clone. Jesus.
