Hey good to see you back. I've missed seeing your videos. I have a question. First I want to say that you really inspired me to start the gym which I did in January but since I started the gym my knees have been hurting a lot and now they are swollen and painful. I think it was the leg curl which I stopped using. I went Tuesday to the gym and didn't work out my lower body at all and I HAVNT workout since Tuesday.Should I stop doing squats and deadlifts or should I stop working out altogether? I really hope you can help as I've done really well and lost a stone and firmed up in places!
Hey Marina. If you have joined the gym and started working out fantastic. Honestly , if you're at a gym I would recommend and investing in a good PT , even just for a couple of sessions , especially if you're experiencing some problems or pains. You really want to make sure you're using current form on the exercises and using the right weight/resistance and not going too heavy too soon. A good PT will be able to check all this to help prevent any injuries or pains and to set you up on a good program to follow. prevention is better than cure as they say. Especially when it comes to pains or injuries :-)
