Solution No. 3 worked for me so far and I'm hoping it will not flicker anymore. Once I did all the 3 steps it's still flickering with changing colors of green & red on my laptop screen and I'm so sad and turned off my computer. After 2 hours I turned it on again and the flickering is gone! Thank you!
Mine worked at STEP 2. However now I can only choose 1 resolution ( 1024 768 ) ! Which is not that good, because certain software, I cannot see the full picture. Did you experience this too ?

Unfortunately, none of these tricks worked for me. I'm using a laptop that has a problem where the screen often glitches out whenever I move the screen - like when I close and open the laptop, it glitches out for a second, then gets back on. Sometimes, it will flicker out randomly. I'm guessing it has something to do with the connection of the display (a hardware problem, not a software problem). Are you able identify the problem and help me fix it?
