Idk, both people seem to xross boundries most couples wouldnt. He openly admits to wondering about ither peoples nakedness in q discussion with another woman. They both seem to talk too much
I had a friend that went to a camp like that in the 90’s, he later committed suicide. His parents were unhinged and mentally and physically abused. I wholly believe that the camp was responsible for his death.
I've always wondered about those camps. If it could be considered self-defense to bust out of there by any means necessary, including by hurting the people locking you in and stealing their cars or whatever else you can get your hands on.
I think some of them, at the minimum, are a kind of legalization of abuse.
I don't know how those people can destroy young ones, make them believe that and still look at themselves in the mirror

God the third story is smth out of a horror story. The worst part is ive heard of camps like that multiple times before. Her brother probably saved her life, i can't imagine how she would have gotten out of there otherwise. This is the kind of abuse that leads a teen to suicide.
That 3rd story infuriated me to no end. OP, when you turn 18, you make an exit plan. DO NOT let your parents try to isolate you from your brother. They will try EVERYTHING in their power to destroy your life. When you leave, Freeze Your Credit. They may try to take out loans in your name. They will also try to track you down and harrass you. Get a restraining order when that starts, and if they escalate, look into firearm laws if you live in the US and arm yourself if you can. Also, take self-defense classes. That way you know how to handle things it it gets physical. Make sure your brother is also armed and trained. Narcissists will do whatever it takes to get what they want, and if they can't get what they want, they'll start trying to destroy your lives outright. And if that doesn't work, they might try something far worse.

A good Christian wouldn't make you write down reasons that you should hate yourself especially to a child, I believe Christians should be loving and compassionate. Christianity essentially means Christ-like, Jesus wouldn't hate on anyone especially a child. OP's parents and this so called Christian camp is the reason why so many people see Christians as self-righteous and bigoted haters. It's not right. I myself don't understand the whole foot fetish thing. That doesn't mean I'm going to hang or drag people's names through the dirt if they have that kind of fetish, Kate is just someone who likes to cause trouble in others relationships.

America is a truly psychotic country for having camps like that and enforcing no standards for children's protection. I can understand if parents have a very violent and very dangerous kid or an addict who needs a sort-of shock therapy to get their shit together, but even then there should be verification process of what the child needs (and if anything at all!) as well as set of standards what is and isn't allowed for the therapists/counsellors to do. Camps should only hire licensed and SANE individuals to work with the kids.
Instead, they straight up abuse (if not torture) and traumatize kids... They teach them nothing but fear and subjugation. I'd be not surprised if the kids who left the camps turned out even worse and seeking revenge to inflict it upon whomever they can.

Story 3 I had a friend who sent to one of those camps he never came back actually found out years later that they basically murdered him because they stopped feeding him in fact his brother almost killed their dad because of it
Story number 3 if they take your property away all you have to do is keep receipts for everything you bought keep them with you or in a box where they can't find them label each one of the receipts what it's for so that you'll know and if they take those items away and don't give them back you can sue them for those items you can also have them arrested for stealing them they have to give them back by law I know this from a lawyer friend of mine, plus I'm going to tell you what my cousin did she had problems with her stepfather she wanted to get rid of him do you know what she did she went and hit her naked back with a belt and left a bunch of marks on it and then had a friend of hers along with her word testified to the cops that her stepfather beat her and molested her and he's still in jail today I'm not telling you to do that I'm just telling you what my cousin did LOL

It seems like they are friends or know each other for a long time. So talking about weard stuff to relate to what she is feeling is just a man thing. I know it sounds creepy. But that's how some men console someone, by saying something weird, sincer and personal, so the person that's talking with them feel secure and not feel like their thoughts are bad, and invalid. "Yeah I am same as you, I have bad thinking". It's like saying you are not alone, everybody has this kind of thoughts.
The complimenting the art, and getting shat on. Was a personal reminder. I complemented a friend girlfriend hobby. I was really happy and amazed by her progress that people though I was flirting with her. But I just wanted to encourage her to continue because I thought she was talented.(Boyfriend knew me well so he was on my side).
