    148mph measured via GPS, flying the White version (4s stock). I was flying with the Predator 80a esc / 1900kv 3060 combo shoehorned into the 70mm stock EDF unit.

      Was it a straight easy swap with the fms motor into the freeing edf housing?

    Watching the video makes me want to buy one. Does it come down slowly with full flaps when landing?

    This wasn’t stock right? What was the setup?

    I still think the 2210kv 70mm Freewing makes is the best 70mm EDF

    That is very interesting and helpful. What size batteries are you using on the Vulcan and what are you fining the average flight times from that battery?

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am using HRB 6s 4000mah and 4500mah...I tried a 5000mah and it flew heavy and not recommended!

    I've tried mine with a GPS installed, 110mph on level flight. I'll try it again, but I think a good dive and tailwind would be needed for 133mph. Our runway is just about 200' and need to slow right down for landing, but takes practice.

      Right on!

      Update, got 142 mph (on GPS) with a strong tail wind and coming out a dive, passed me like a rocket and with a bit of practice I can now slow it down to almost a stop for landing with elevator and a careful use of throttle. This is a great plane to fly and I would highly recommend it as a second or third edf jet.

    Fast bird! Do a speed test on the Freewing L-39.. Mine went past 140 mph

    I also have the Freewing Avanti 80mm V2. Is the Vulcan better when comparing mobility and speed?

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Both the Freewing Avanti 80mm V2 and the Vulcan have their own unique strengths when it comes to mobility and speed. It really depends on what you're looking for in terms of performance and flying experience. Avanti can do it all, the Vulcan is just made for speed

      @@RCPlaneReviewer Thank you for the good point. I seek speed. Dive and extreme speed. So do you recommend the light Vulcan?

      @user-gp4xd7xc5t for the price of the Vulcan it's hard to pass up. It's great value

    Are you flying the Vulcan with a gyro?

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No gyro..actually no gyro is really needed in this bird goes where you point it and slices through the air..very efficient in the air.
