Yes, huge footings. With the big excess of sales over production - let's hope Tesla has the funds to go gangbusters with the Semi factory this six months. As you say, Gantry cranes are the big equipment rather than robots.
But we should expect Tesla to make its own truck frames at the factory, and mould the cab.
We should expect a warehouse on wheels and end of line facility with charging and a pre-delivery yard. If the cell factory is in the same building, maybe Tesla will have a common warehouse on wheels and pre-delivery yard near the first building.

The work to actually pour concrete cannot begin until a concrete plant with silos, sand and aggregate bays and water and chemical drums are set up.
There is a concrete plant 5 minutes away if they choose to use it.
Do folks know why some building plans are public and some not? It seems like no TH-camrs have shared/found these on county sites but, in other states and countries we often have something. Is it simply Nevada allows them to be kept private?
I have tried and all I get is the run-around. They have no website, I email for public info they say you have to come in-person, I show up and they say email. In this small county, Tesla gets special treatment.
