Just incredible touring cars. I've done 4 return trips in Tesla mod Y (with auto steering mostly used!) from Isle of Man to Vienna ... with one sleep-over mid way. Fantastic, using Spottify playing our music selection.
this was awesome. I am going to do soomething similar from Portugal to Benidorm (about 1000Km). Will be my first road trip with the tesla (only got it last week) should be fun! any advice for a new roadtripper?
IF, I were to buy an EV it would be a Tesla. But there are very few tesla chargers in this area. The gov want electric cars, the secret is chargers but they dont seem to understand. Just like governments had to build roads, they need many more chargers.
Hi Tom, Enjoying the Tesla videos. We have a MG4 and are planning going to Europe next year. How did you find the MG4 for that and do you have any videos from the MG4 trip? Cheers Robert.
We took out the Tesla membership to reduce costs, but there were stretches where the chargers weren't open to non-Teslas and we had to use Ionity and pay the extra. We also found at Aldea that the short overhang of the MG4 prevented the cable from reaching. We had to jump the car over the bump-stop to get close enough. Ionity we used the Elecroverse cad and that worked well, but the Tesla app was a real pain and we regularly had to move chargers before we could get it to work. When we got to Spai, Clare said she never wanted to do that journey again in the MG4, so we took the hit, sold it and bought a pre-registered Tesla.
We drove from Santander to Santa Pola this year in our EV6 using mainly Tesla and a couple of IONITY. We had membership for both which drastically reduced costs. I’ve just ordered a Model 3 to simplify things for next year 😊
The problem is the chargers for non Tesla's and the cost.Strange a South African living in the US has to show us the way.More embarrassing really for the rest.
Thanks for the video Tom, my sister lives in Xabia and my wife and I have thought about driving our Tesla through France into Spain to visit.
If you need it there are Superchargers in Ondara.
Excellent videos thank you both for posting.
Have good holiday and thank you. Will look out for return trip.👍
You drove past my area in Valencia

I have done a couple of long European journeys and used ionity without any problems and a good price if you get a months membership
