Do that trip from Bristol to Keswick a couple of times a year. I use the Trentham Gardens Charges just of Stoke on Trent. These are Tesla chargers open to all & cheaper. I then use the Ionity at Lancaster, then at Charlie I can use Ionity or Tesla.
so unless you have spare thinking time, and enough flexibility to reschedule on-the-fly, ICE still more practical. A nice holiday trip like that shouldn't have to be fraught with worry, or conflict at a rest stop. Once upon a time, you could nap for 3 hours at t-bay without having to pay for it.
Ionity always delivering that premium electricity haha! That services where you stopped was really something, never seen a similar scenario in Canada. What is the charging curve on the Jeep? How long are you able to keep that 100kW speed? The more I see it the more I like it. Hope they bring it to Canada.
Stellantis must bring this to Brazil!!! If they manufacture it here and do right by the price, it has the potencial to sell big numbers.

We wanted to stop at Tebay because of how nice Gloucester Services is.

@@harryjones5260 i mean there wasn’t any worry. I just found the setup at Tebay not practical and too much bottle necks. Part 2 will be up soon

Started tapering down around 30% . It was peaking around 112kw. Lots of time between 80-90kw to 60%
@@simplygregsterevThat’s not bad for a smaller EV like this.
You should be able to use some tesla chargers but likely not on the motorway service sites but the telsa site should be able to tell you
@@richardgore2000 While in Cumbria we were using the Tesla SC in Gretna at the Outlet Mall
Im getting an EV and that is an interesting experience.
@@D868-g1s amazing
Tebay is a victim of its own success.
Appears so! It was a regular Friday and the place was busy like a Bank Holiday Monday
Lovely video
Thanks!
