Only want certain characters from Marvel like this. Picked up Spiderman a few days ago and it poses like butter and can recreate any comic-book pose easily. I think you should have shown how natural it looks crouching down on all fours next to Mafex, Sentinal, and ML spidermen. Looking forward for Moon Knight and Thor when they come out. Great review!!💯

This is the first review I watched about the fig since i was trying to hold back to control myself from buying xD and it did not disappoint. Very nice insights on the details and great posing too! Excellent posing, dude. You have sold me on this figure. I was iffy on some of the choices made aesthetically but in the end I care more about articulation and posing so I have a feeling this will be my favorite Spidey!

i appreciate having at least one higher end figure line that gives decently posable Spider-Man figures in suits other than the classic or black one, especially since s.h. figuarts is pretty much locked into doing MCU stuff only lol

I love this sculpt. The SHF, Mafex and Sentinel all seem a bit too skinny to me. In the 80s comics, especially when in an action pose, Spidey often looked beefy and ripped like this. This looks almost too much in some angles, but better too much than not enough when it comes to superheroes. I hope they do the classic suit in this style. I don't like the feet though.

I recommend the Revoltech over the Mafex any day of the week, but the Mafex is still really good so I’d say go for whatever one you think looks cooler 🤷🏼♂️
I wanna get the reissue but the only thing stopping me is the lenses on how easily they fall off or losing them since I would like this pose this thing outside or something I’ve the flash revoltech effects come off easily
Great review bro but does he have the stand problem the superman had like falling off the stand and breaking the stand when in a flying pose and the stand not able to lift the weight of the fig
I CANT say it’s the better on everything but as we know with revoltech Witch have the best mha figure If you search a spidey that can do EVERYTHING YOU WANT it’s there Personally mafex did better on the look and the classic spidey but MEN he is impressive

I hate the chunky thighs, massive balls on the shoulders, those weird knee tabs, and that heeled boot style, too many creative liberties that didn’t work out 😊
Hard disagree, I think the newer ones are beautiful the only joints that are difficult to hide are the shoulder ball joints. But everybody’s got their preference. The Mafex is just gonna be the be all end all for a lot of people and the end of the day

Nahhh. Mafex still knocks these out the park. They almost look like robot versions of the characters with the angles & exposed joints.
