Congratulations on the book. I have always thought that the need for certainty was to build a environment which would allow you to experiment and the feedback from experimentation would enable you to build more certainty.

This is such a fantastic idea, except for the (rather obvious) worry about survival and making money during all this figuring out (for want of a better term). Not sure how one would be able to do this unless one were really young (which I suspect is the target audience anyway, so I should hold my peace) or without some financial backing. Do correct me if I am wrong. I'd like to be.
I talk about it in the book! I have a pet peeve with advice that ignores this very important question of how do you sustain yourself while figuring it out. In the book I explicitly say you don't have to quit your job to start tiny experiments. I also talk about people who have had to freelance while they were conducting some experiments to see if these would pan out (including myself).
