I used to think that the Alien Planet (i like to call it Saberoidia) was a rogue planet that intersected the solar system and threw things out of orbit, thats why it captured Titan, Europa is around Mars, and Triton was ejected from Neptune. When they added Pertam it kinda threw that off, unless there was another solar system that collided with ours, but then there would be a second sun probably too. Perhaps actually instead of rogue planet, in the early solar system, there were two other planets? But with this information in the video, maybe the true answer is this: Space Engineers doesnt refer to us, it refers to the ancient race, when they went out to the stars they engineered a replica of some planets and moons from their home star system, but since they were so ancient, they didnt know what earth would end up looking like due to plate tectonics, they just new that it was a newly lifebearing planet and called it Eden (Which is usually what i call Earthlike in game). Maybe Pertam and Alien planet are just some other planets that were already in the system where they were building

Does that wrong capitalization mean something? I also think these verses are from (at least) the German translation of the Old Testament. Also don't forget the fishes as creatures! I mean they SWIMM in actual liquid water! That is mysterious enough! Maybe the swimming fishes are essentially the prototech!
I really doubt the devs intend to incorporate a lot of lore to the space engineers 'world', and that these hints were really just made purposely vague to give players something to ponder and look forward to. However it does call into question; does this proto civilization know of the biblical or abrahamitic 'garden of eden'? Or is it just used as an expression, and this is a convenient translation? Could the proto civilization simply be ancient humans, who for whatever reason stopped using our English and German alphabets, maybe instead adopting a 'galactic common' script? And which meaning of 'garden of eden' are we using, is the earthlike planet a paradise of riches? Is it the point of origin for the proto species? Is it a haven that cannot be accessed by them? I find the last part particularily interesting as it would make sense that they would look down on it, but not go there, implied by there not being a -lith on the planet itself.
My guess is the two different fonts and languages may be a result of two coexisting (happily or not) cultures of the same "race". And it seems most probable that it was a third party documenting some other civilization's story, or maybe the space faring civilization the liths talk about just really liked talking in the third person .🤷♂
How I have had this game for over 6 years and are only now am I finding out there are monoliths and I have been on Mars heaps and the moon I basically ohh well I have been on the moon twice or so but still😢😢😢
Nah! I don´t think the Factorum has anything to do with the ´liths. They say "You have forgotten us, pushed us into the void", so the ´you´ in this case is most likely ´us´, the Space Engineers, making the pushing into the void a recent historical event and the Factorum-people humans (or maybe cyborgs, according to the modulated voice and the gear symbol on their head), not some precursor-race [except we´re looking at a SCP-1000 situation].
wait.. mono and stereo.. do they also have an audio secret ? meaning some sort of message in form of sound ? anyways my theory is humans lived on mars then moved to the earth that wasn't called earth yet since it's called garden of eden. language changed more towards modern human like ( current language ) language over time... they're currently the only humans left that were on mars and the goal is to restart civilization somehow ?.. ( just a wild guess i suppose )
From what I can recall, I believe I have heard something similar somewheres... Not entirely sure, perhaps the egyptian pyramids? It seems someone is browsing on the German Wikipedia ... Oh it is German buuuut with a capitalization error. It should be "Garten Eden" in German as such names/nouns are capitalized.
I would laugh so hard if they were the fishes 😅
Also, it is a capital E, I just checked. I wrote it wrong in the video.
Dolbylith is next up.
9:12 might explain "proto" tech
lol
Two minutes in, so the great race was the Space Engineers race. Okay.
Nope, they were 🐶
😜
There's been lore in the game for a while from loading screens and scenarios which both apparently tie back to Keen's previous game Miner Wars 2081
Yeah, this video came out like 2 months before that teaser.
wait.. mono and stereo.. do they also have an audio secret ? meaning some sort of message in form of sound ? anyways my theory is humans lived on mars then moved to the earth that wasn't called earth yet since it's called garden of eden. language changed more towards modern human like ( current language ) language over time... they're currently the only humans left that were on mars and the goal is to restart civilization somehow ?.. ( just a wild guess i suppose )
No, it's just a joke
I like how we translate languages, we find symbols in every word that could indicate a vowel then go from there and guess what it could mean
That's how we translated the Monolith originally lol.
From what I can recall, I believe I have heard something similar somewheres... Not entirely sure, perhaps the egyptian pyramids? Man, there are too many old things talking about an ancient civilisation that appeared with humanity and helped out or whatever.... Perhaps this is the same thing...
Just thinking out loud here
I'm not sure you point but I'm pretty sure that the pyramids weren't built by aliens if that's what you're suggesting.
@@Zer0sLegion No, I am saying they talk a lot about other species being about... Just thinking it could be the same thing here
@@Zer0sLegion Sorry, I am thinking of the sumariens, not the egyptians, my bad lol
I'm waiting for the Dolby Atmosolith
Dolby's lawyers want to know your location!
9:10 my ancestry... finally solved...
😅
