  • Building 2 model kits in this video. Both a Male and Female World War 1 Tanks. These are 1:76 Vintage Classics from Airfix
Low price point model kits that surprised me and were a joy to build (except the tracks!)
Camouflage is freely painted by hand (I did not follow box art here)

Hobby Lobby is the only store in my hometown that carries Airfix model kits. I buy the tanks and airplanes when they are 40% off during a weekly sale. I got a lotta WW2 era stuff, i hope they bring these kits back soon so i dont hafta pay Ebay prices! Great video, cool build! I look forward to more content!

Thank you for your comment! I am lucky to have lots of hobby shops around me with a big variety of kits available! It is true what you say, Ebay prices have gone crazy but you can find good deals on there occasionally.

Some tips that might help you improve your technique:
    - Always have a nail file/piece of sandpaper. Sanding is essential for you to get clean edges that won't interfere with the final product.
    - Always dilute your paint. If working with acrylics, apply a few droplets of water and a drop of paint on a small plate/plastic container. If enamel is used, apply a few drops of paint thinner instead (follow safety precautions). By mixing them to the "consistency of milk", you can build layers that will definitely improve your model's quality. They also get more resistant to cracking and coming off the model.
    - By using a heated hypodermic needle, you can make the gun barrels.
    - Remember to always seal the final result in a coat of varnish. Usually, this is done after painting (with gloss varnish) and after applying the decals/stencils (with matte varnish). Coating everyting in varnish will ensure your work doesn't get ruined by having everything come clean off the model.

    Nice music, nice builds.
However not mk1 tanks. Airfix based the kit on a mk2 which was not used in combat ( for training, no armour plate). Different on the top of the tank.

Do you think I could build the tank without those "trailing wheels"?

Definitely, you can leave them out when you build it.

I've already done quite a few sets especially airplanes this is my 3rd tank but I think I liked this one of the best sets especially because level 1 is nice to do an easy one in between I immediately ordered a 2nd to make the male version
