I appreciate you sharing your build with us. I started a Tich 25 years ago and need to complete it. Your work has inspired me to re-start the project. Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing your journey with me, I think it’s beautiful, I hope I see more of this project in the future when you get some track or make any improvements, again thank you.
great job done Bill enjoyed it shame you don't have a 3 1/2" track thats local best wishes Kev P.S. will you show it us steamed up even if on the rolling road!!!👍👍👍👍🚂🚂🚂🚂
Awesome build! You must feel a intense feeling of satisfaction with getting this intricate project completed. Many of these steam locos get started but never get finished.
Well done Bill 😀 great tip with the short wrench. Look out for restricted access wrenches too they are normal open ended at one end and right angled on the other. I think LBSC was being sneaky, you might start as a beginner but if you finish Tich you will be an expert! Happy Christmas.
Hi Bill, good to see you have persevered through all the teething problems, well done. On the track, we run a dual gauge raised track with 3.5 and 5 inch on the same sleepers i.e. three rails, but we don't have any points so easy to fabricate
@@tonyashgrove9512 Thanks, Tony. I sure wish there was a track like that near me! I get jealous watching videos of the Northern US and UK (and other) tracks in park-like settings.
This is an amazing series which I highly respect the time you took to document this journey. I'm about to start my first locomotive (also a tich!) in 5" gauge so this series will help a ton. Keep up the good work
@@fredvv44 Thanks, Fred! I appreciate your help in the process. I’m going to mess around with that wrench a bit and maybe show what I can come up with… Bill

Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate it!
Great work Bill. Thank you for taking the time to share your build of the Tich over the last year or so. Season's greetings to you.

Thanks, Kev. Yes, I will certainly show that when we steam it up. Bill

@@Benji_transport_vids glad you enjoyed it Benji. Good luck with your 5” gauge Tich!
That is a simple build. I'm just starting an evening star that is 2. 10. 0 in 3 1/2".
Probably, but it would be short. Suppose I could heat, bend and stretch it!
Looks great Bill. For that wrench could you bend the handle 90 degrees and come up from the bottom to tighten the fitting?
