with the first listen i was hmm nothing special but the more i listened it grows so much on me and now i cant stop listening to it. haunting ,epic, dark its outstanding song combined with the video always gives me goosebumbs
Awesome reaction, incredible band, and a really great video. This is only the second album where Septicflesh consistently release videos and this many too, for most of their career they have only had the occasional video. Fun fact: Sotiris Vayenas (generally appears as a second singer in videos and the occasional live shows) is the original second guitarist (still in studio) and the main composer of the lyrics, there are very few interviews out there (mostly in Greek) with him talking about the inspiration for the lyrics, he knows a lot. He rarely tours with the band due to his job (not sure what) at home which doesn't permit him to tour much, so that's why Psychon (the lefty guitarist) has been their live guitarist for years now and seems to be an official member now.

Now Papadopoulos is the most common last name, which unironically makes Yiannis Papadopoulos the equivalent of John Smith lol

I think the point of the video is that the "gods" are just human beings when you remove the façade. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" so to say.
I mean, they have recorded with the Prague Philharmonic orchestra, same one Hans Zimmer has played with for many famous movie soundtracks (the whole "Batman Begins" saga, Interstellar, Inception, etc).
This is strange and good at the same time. I´ll listen to it again just to see what happens. Not bad at all at first view. Have you ever seen: Storm Seeker - The Longing or Mushroomhead - The Heresy They are both great songs
