PERKESO could do something about this since they have the Return to Work programme that aims to train disabled/incapacitated employees to get them back into the workforce.
Since we are dealing with human resource, I think the Ministry of Human Resource should be able to do something about this issue.
Then again, it goes back to the competency of the minister in making competent judgment/decisions.

That being said, if government workers is 'struggling' despite their very secure job and extra allowance, imagine the actual minimum wage workers with no allowance.

I have known several ex-Msian athletes. Some of them broke Msian records during teen years. Some even able to beat some of Msian now athletes. But unfortunately, reality struck them hard especially during injured and when they just went out of school. Many choose to quit, delay payments, low pay no and more money finish to survive alone especially during surgery. In the end, they quit despite how much persuasion and get better job. They admit that they feel like being used. The one that lasts are the one who had enough money.. the low income sadly have to choose other option.

Another problem is the gov university doesn't bother to help graduates in securing a job. My cousin also asked me if the uni is helping unemployed grads as well.
Not sure about the employability of gov uni, I have read that Sunway U grads has the highest employability in Malaysia. Looking at QS ranking is not enough because it does not reflect the whole quality of a university.
