    130, 170, 230, don’t worry it’s all the same engine (1630 ACE). Some performance companies are starting to take orders to “streamline” the engines. Great video! Definitely giving me ideas on how to run wires and installing an aux batt with an isolator. Waiting to get my switch in the next month .

    The video was great and I was able to install the transducer last month. It was working fine until my last outing this week when I got a message on the Garmin that said an incompatible cable was being used. Have you seen this?

    Thanks for the video, I'll be doing this next week. Getting ready to order parts. Just to confirm, do we need that blue to orange cable? Even on the seadoo site it only shows the transducer without mention of an adapter cable. I got 4 sony bluetooth speakers that I can't wait to see how they sound on the boat, if not, I might revert to an audio install as well, because the $5K seadoo kit cost is kind of ridiculous to me. We can get subs that'll move the boat on their own for that cost. :-)

    Thanks for the video super informative. How does the switch perform in the ocean?

    Any chance you can share the stereo components you used? Did you just add the additional speaker box in the back or was is a separate head unit. any additional instruction on how you did the stereo would be awesome, I want to do this?
    Thank you!!

      Kicker 10 inch with amp built in. But I use a JBL 310 party box with battery 10 hour.

    Good vid. So what number cup did you use? Did you use just plain old silicone or marine adhesive? As for should use antifreeze, you must use antifreeze or some other compatible liquid.

      I have no idea but don’t beach the switch or you’ll be replacing the impeller and bearing.

      @@seadooswitchextremetubing thanks for that reply makes sense I had already thought about that and bought 2 anchors just to be on safe side and just anchor it instead of beaching it when at the river but it's appriciated thank you

      The only way to get hours on it is to use it driving it around while varying the throttle. I've heard at 10 hours and after performing an oil change at 10 hours you should be getting full power. Can anyone back that statement up?

    When I measure Deadrise I get 20 on the dot. Video said he used 12 on the same boat. Has anyone else measured it differently on their own Switch?

    • @JtWhissel
      @JtWhissel ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you do 20 or 12?

    • @scotthutchins6035
      @scotthutchins6035 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just got our 21' Switch and I got 19.2 dead rise, so I will be using the 20. I also got an app that shows x and y axis with reticle in the middle and with the 20 it shows less than one degree for either axis when laid on the bracket. I bet your measure is dead on.

    my seadoo is 21 feet does the 12* work for me or should i use another?

    • @seadooswitchextremetubing
      @seadooswitchextremetubing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used a 21 pitch it’s the tallest one! The most important thing is I used a marine adhesive sealant and glue. Let it dry completely!

      You can sit the transducer in a bucket of water to see it works! I used a 5 gallon. You can hear the sonar and that’s why you need antifreeze so that the transducer will work..

  • @isaaclacasse8148

    Have you had any issues with the transducer not reading depth when moving at speeds over 15mph?
