I love the Vanilla Vibes bottle. I loved it when I first got it but I prefer Sun Di Gioia and usually reach for it over Vanilla Vibes. Maybe your husband would wear it layered with mens fragrance.
I have Talc Gourmand, Gourmand Coquin and Kyse cacao Noisette chocolate fragrances; Kyse is my favorite, she really nailed that chocolate note. The other two can pull a little powdery sometimes.

I think the bottle of LVEB Intensement was probably off. Have you ever smelled Chloe Love Story? I'm also not a fan of the original. There's so many good chocolate fragrances! I actually have choco musk in my amazon cart right now! I'll have to add those other ones to my list to sample. I don't really want to wear a chocolate scent alone, but there are some fragrances that I would love to add a chocolate note to so I'm looking for something that I can layer with.
Rouge Smoking is so well blended to my nose that all I can really pick out is the Cherry. To me it smells like a cherry soda, like cherry coke or cherry Dr Pepper. I suppose the pink pepper is giving it that effervesce that makes it smell like something bubbly like soda, but it doesn't quite smell like the typical pink pepper that bothers my nose.

They are about to reformulate everything due to new regulations. They have to use synthetic rose amongst other things. Perfumery is being ruined.
