nice, I was in the RED lot. did a PB 1:38:29. it was amazing, the crowd made sure I didn't walk at all. well done everyone. on to the next one. next year gotta do a full marathon. Let's Get It.
I missed you boys must have run right passed you Pepper, I would have been concentrating on the crowd as I try to do a lot of high fives in the first 5 km as it stops me from going at way to fast. Me and an Irish guy Andy about 19km realized sub 1:45 was off the cards so started playing with crowd getting them all worked up. Obviously when we saw the finish line we got our heads down and stuck in a strong finish. I'm with you boys the best part is the pie and pint after. This race I brought a massage gun with my change of clothes, oh my made the wait awesome. It was a top weekend as I got my brother to join in and put in a solid performance as well, so glad it didn't rain on the race like the GNR.
@@BillyBobJoeSnr nice! I find running with my brother to be extra special, always makes for a good day. Ha, going out far too fast is my thing! You’d think I’d have learned by now!
@@AlPepperRuns yep just watched that one as well! Didn't look all that much fun weather wise but you have some great friends who love sharing time with you! :)
Fantastic work, Al & Jamesy! *left wondering just how fast Al would be if he wasn't yelling and socializing the whole way round...* Ahhh, you know we love you for it, Al.
@@richardsands8402 ha! Thanks for letting me know… I’m kicking myself for having gotten it wrong! Believe it or not I supported them at a gig many years ago!
