Absoluteley. Watching this movie I was blown away and completely mezmorized by his performance. There are some things that ONLY Jim Carrey can do. I cant imagine the film being even half as good without him, but because of him I will watch it again.

I had no desire to see this movie but seeing a few clips of Jim playing the role of Robotnik kinda makes me want to see it now.
This is one of those situations where the fans and creators made good decisions all around. The fans gave backlash to Sonic, and the changed it. The fans gave backlash to Jim and the said naw he’s good.

I have been a fan of his since "In Living Color". It is so awesome to see Jim bring everything to his performance. We are so lucky, he brought that energy to this role 😊
if you like his dance moves you should look up Nathan Barnatt. he did a similar dance. hes also one of the people that fornite copied a dance from.

Honestly, Robotnik/Eggman tends to carry most Sonic media. Most of it he's just this great campy ham of an evil scientist that is a joy to watch. (Except for where he's a legit threat, but usually still enjoyable). Carrey is one of the very few live action actors that can accurately capture that enegery. So its no surprise to me that he might be the best part of this movie.
Literally just finished watching it 😢 I'm not disappointed at all brought back some great memories from a time we'll never have again

I've been watching all these interviews with Jim in front of that exact same poster and you'd was one of the best. I loved how you pointed out that connection between the posters of Sonic and Cable Guy. I love him so damn much... but it’s just me or he looks kinda sad or kinda empty this last couple years... he seems so tired but still trying to be nice to everyone.

He went through some awful times. A girlfriend with lifelong depression issues committed suicide and there were years of lawsuits and media slander between JC and the woman’s really messed up family.
I guess money and success can’t buy happiness.
Jim Carrey is also a method actor, so where there are movies where he's goofy (which means backstage as well), there's movies where he's legitimately an asshole.
