I was looking into getting the Symm because I love the S2, but a friend of mine bought the Ergo a bit back when it first came out and told me about all the problems he had with it (basically all the same problems you talked about in this video), but it seems like they fixed most of the issues so I think ill give the Symm a shot in the near future!
Glad I found thus video, zowie is taking their sweet time restocking the C series EC mice , so I ordered the wired ergo to give it a try. I felt alot better with the cheaper price tag the wired offered, all I want at the end of the day is a lighter EC2 xD
For anyone living in Asia, do consider an alternative mouse if you're considering to purchase any of the Pwnage mouses. It's a Korean brand named "Xenics" and they have the exact same design as the Pwnage Ergo and Symm mouses. They're called "Titan G Air Wireless" and "Titan GX Air Wireless" respectively. They also have non-wireless versions of these mouses. Also instead of a PAW 3335 Sensor used in the Pwnage mouses the Korean alternative uses PAW 3370 Sensors. I've heard the clicks are slightly different but overall it's the exact same mouse rehoused with different parts. Do check it out! I'm currently using the GX Air Wireless and it's my main mouse so far. Before this i've been using the Pre-BenQ Zowie FK2, G305, Viper Mini and the MM710.

I tried the Ergo recently and noticed some slight latency as well. Trying to track quickly strafing players was much more difficult than usual. It had some defects and had to return it. Not sure I want to get another. Not too many wireless mice really make the cut in the sweat lobbies from what I've tried. I wonder about the Model D wireless.
I like Symm 2 solid with 3M grip tape on the sides only (not on buttons). I like the honeycomb on top as I am a sweaty mess. Weight either way did not matter to me. Plus their software is not as invasive as Razors.
I'm looking for a wireless mouse but idk what a good choice is. I have 15.25 x 9 cm hands and i mostly like relax claw/finger tip, any recommendations?

Knew I forgot something from the vid, the coating feels good to me. It's not a high quality coating like on the Superlight / Outset AX, but my hands do not get sweaty at all with this coating and it's still decently grippy. I don't need the best coating with this shape, it's naturally easy to lift for me.

I've also considered the orochi v2, as I've realised I use a hybrid grip that changes depending on gameplay (full relaxed palm grip for non-comp games, hybrid relaxed claw/fingertip for competitive shooters). I've realised that although the g403 is comfortable, I actually aim better with a smaller mouse (tested this on my old G302).
Haus, take a look at the Xenics Titan air wireless, same thing but with a pwm 3370. I'm very interested by what u mean with 'slight sensor delay feeling' as well. A+ video as always though.

The Ergo version looks EXACTLY like the GENESIS Xenon 800 RGB mouse wich came out in like 2008 -2009 . or am i wrong? i know of another company that took the same shell for "their" mouse to. must be a magical shape i guess

I have pawnage ultra custom ergo and i can't play with it. Lift of distance is too high for me.I play cs go 800 DPI and 0.8 in sens game and i struggle with arm aiming becouse of lift of distance.
@@ysy-hl7rt I am not sure there is a firmware upgrade available, but I would believe so as I did not experience any LOD issues with any of the mousepads I used. Hopefully it is available for download.
Hey haus, love the review! it was good, I got the xenic titan gx air wireless which is a (pwnage symmetrical alternate) zowie s2 clone. I love the mouse and it's great, 9/10 for the mouse for being a nice reasonable price for a wireless mouse! it has a paw 3370 sensor and a 71-hour battery life but the symmetrical has 66 office hours/40 gaming hours with an a3335 sensor. symmetrical and xenic are both good mouse but I would go for xenic knowing it has a better sensor and better battery but it does have 5 dollars more shipping if paid high custom feeds and you may experience placebo whenever switching from different mice to symmetrical because you think another mouse tracks/responds faster. keep up these videos, enjoying them

Kinda unfair to write off the ergo completely because of the holes on the sides when you can easily cover with grips. You can even buy them on the Pwnage website.
I think it would be extremely disingenuous to recommend the Symmetrical to anyone at this point, as it is vastly inferior to other company's use of the OEM base product. The Xenics Air Titan for example is identical to the Symmetrical, except it uses a 3370 sensor instead, which makes the battery life much better but most importantly eliminates the awful, awful, awful Lift Off Distance issues plaguing the Symmetrical. Until Pwnage release a driver update for the Symmetrical, absolutely nobody should buy that mouse.
Absolutely no LOD issues with either one of these for me, check if there is a firmware update available for you. I won't recommend something that I haven't tried, Xenics Titan Air Wireless is on the way.

Do you know if the clicks are heavier or lighter on the Xenics version?
@@drawde3972 I can't say for sure because i've never tried the Pwnage Symm in hand. The clicks are definitely not as light as some mouses.

how does the coating on the symm feel? would you be able to compare it to any other mice you've reviewed?

Not at all close to the G403, it's more similiar to EC2.
They took the design from the mouse named rampage fury z.
It doesn't work like that, all of these brands buy these shells OEM from a factory.
