Great review like always Sam. But unfortunately this isn't a Ford neither a Capri. It's a Volkswagen ID 4 or 5. Even the new electric Puma has more ford in it cuz at least it's built on the Fiesta
Thank you! I understand what you mean, but Ford have done a good job putting their stamp on it the interior is very Ford with the blue lighting and unique seats as well as the colours used.
@Carcode how is it a ford interior when all the controls are VW haptic buttons. A blue accent light does not make it a ford and this is not a Capri, it's another sad generic EV that won't sell. Less than 10% of the Explorers and Capris that have been built have been sold and that's across Europe.
❤😊 Thank you. very good review😊 I did have a look at the Ford explorer and thought it was a very impressive vehicle. could do with a Frunk though 😎 The new Capri extremely capable car considerably better than the original .... although the big trend for large SUVs is something I really don't like, we have too many of them... and I'm really looking forward to one day forward doing a low sleek lightweight fast electric car and perhaps putting the name Capri on it ❤😊
An interesting review Sam, glad you did the Capri and enjoyed it 😁 I saw one in black at my local Ford dealership last week and it looked sharp. For me, it's the perfect size (not too big) and is similar to the Polestar. Only thing is a heat pump should be standard, and I think Ford missed a trick by not having a 2 door coupe. If it was a bit cheaper it would sell 😊
Pleased to hear you enjoyed the review Andrew! It is a good size, I agree the heat pump should be standard. I would’ve loved to see a 2Dr coupe too, but that’s a much more niche market unfortunately.
It's absolutely not a ford in any way shape or form its a euro box like all of them built mainly on the same platform until some of the car makers start to make their cars more individual then I'll stick with the older classic ones of the naughties and two thousands and you haven't got all the tech stuff to go wrong Nothing like driving a raw car
I have always been a mega fan of the capri since I was a child watching minder and the professionals. This is not a capri and should never be called a capri. Even as an ev this thing is ugly and basically a pile of 💩
Despite what Ford and some media channels will tell you, EV demand is up and increasing in the UK. Ford are crying into their engine oil because they lose money on every BEV they sell and have been too late to adapt to building new energy cars efficiently.

For £42k they can keep it, there are cheaper better looking EV's the same size or bigger.
Seems to be a decent drive, and nice external colour choice, but I can’t get past the dumpy (ugly) looks and the price.

The electric puma, just retired this monstrosity
This should not wear the Capri badge, Fusion, Probe or Scorpio would have been better choices.
It's an abomination
And thats all that needs to be said about it.
Get the proper version, Enyaq is up on quality over the Ford's and VW..

Haven't they axed this car yet? An abomination, full stop!

No, it isn't.
