All the well wishes that one can wish upon such wonderful people as you and your family are bestowed upon you! Here is to a speedy recovery from here in East Texas! You all will be in my prayers!
Our lives have taken a turn....that's for sure. If you follow me on Instagram and saw my post yesterday, we had just gotten home from step 1 of 2 procedures to fix his heart. He's feeling better but very anxious about what's ahead. The 2nd and final procedure is coming up in a few weeks. I'll keep everyone posted. Thank you for the uplifting and kind words ♥️
As a nurse I am thrilled he has done so well. He acted quickly and this saved his life. My brother had the same symptoms but no hole. He was on lots of meds...fast forward 6 months later now he is great, minimal meds, and healthier . Your message will change more lives than any doctor or nurse talking to others. Thank you
Hello Bride of Christ 👑🙌🙏... We give Him ALL the Glory for Randy's survival and healing. Hallelujah! Much love to you all. Praying for the saints AND the lost to come to Christ before it's too late. 🙏 "My sheep hear my voice. I know them and they FOLLOW Me." ❤ My soul, Lord, to You surrendered. All I am is Yours. 💞
I'm having a hard time watching this, I just lost my husband to a heart attack. I wish he would have told me he didn't feel well, anything just anything that I could have done to help him PLEASE EVERYONE DO NOT HESITATE TO TELL SOMEONE YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS.
Oh my... I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you. Sending you hugs and prayers. God is close to the broken hearted. May He comfort you during this difficult time. 🙏😪
In 5... I'm so sorry for your loss. My 56 year old husband died suddenly last October. He was a bit grumpy that evening but didn't look ill and didn't say anything about feeling unwell. It just seemed like he'd suddenly fallen asleep but I couldn't wake him. Paramedics came quickly but couldn't resuscitate him. If only we'd known something was wrong. He had high blood pressure and died of a heart attack caused by atherosclerosis and hypertensive heart disease. He was seemingly fit... walked, cycled, played cricket, had a busy job that he loved. It's made me realise how fragile life is and how suddenly things can come crashing down. I know he's in heaven and I will see him again, but I miss him very much. x
My father was the disbelieve that he could be sick. He walked all the way to his car in freezing weather drove to our family Dr. Who called an ambulance and he died. So I hope people listen to your warnings because I grew up without a father. I was 25 when he died and I will never stop missing him. Thank,the Lord that Randy is a smart man and God bless you both.
So very sorry for your loss. My grandpa died at 52, same age as Randy. He mowed the lawn, didn’t feel well, came in & sat down - by the time the ambulance arrived he was gone. My grandmother was only 48 years old. I was 2 & crazy as it sounds, I remember riding in the car with my Granddady, feeling so loved & secure. Wonderful men like my grandfather & your father left us too soon. 💔
I had a heart attack when I turned 50. My cardiologist inserted a stent. When I turned 60, which was 10 years to the day, I had another heart attack and all arteries were blocked. I had open heart. My left arm felt like my arm was going to blow up from the inside out. I had chest pains. Randy did the right thing. He will be okay.

As an RN cardiology nurse I have never seen cayenne pepper documented in the medical literature . Please check with your personal licensed medical doctor, nurse practitioner, or licensed physician's assistant.
🥰 it's like losing your arm. I am sorry for your emptiness but know that your *smile and joyous memories* give off the pheromones that bring him closer. ❤
I’m so glad he’s okay and no damage to heart. My husband had heart attack at 46 working out at YMCA. I was their with him. He was in the shower their just happen to be a fireman paramedic their. Called ambulance took him to hospital. Head of cardiology was their in a meeting. Put two stents in. He has no damage to his heart. He’s 56 in great shape today. God watches over us. He’s not finished with Randy yet! He still has work to do for Him. God Bless y’all!
I’m so glad your beloved Randy is ok and doing well. It sounds like he’s in good hands, both his medical personnel and his Savior. What I’m going to say don’t take as a criticism please! I’m a retired RN of 35+ yrs, worked in Emergency Room. If anyone is experiencing symptoms of heart attack, call 911. You could pass out if driving self and cause an accident, if you have someone else drive, you could be losing precious time. The EMS personnel can get your EKG, confer with ED physicians and give meds while transporting you and save time, thereby saving heart tissue. And the Emergency Room will be ready to give you the best care they can.
Well stated Arnie. That was what I was thinking also. No denigration meant. Hindsight is 20/20 though. It's always good to have certain info filed away in your brain so that when such a scenario happens one can make this best decisions when they happen. And for the purpose of this video, his decision to opt for the hospital instead of work was a good one. Most people would just go on to work.
My dad had a heart attack right in front of me. The sweat just poured down his face, and yet he wouldn't go to the hospital. I finally called his doctor, and made him go. That night he had another massive one. Luckily he survived. I am so happy Randy had sense to go, and I pray for the both of you.
Very glad your dad survived. Even more glad that you made him go. Many people are notorious for not heeding their symptoms and refusing to go to hospital when clearly they should. There are many motivations, such as denial, fear, some people lack self awareness of their own bodies enough to say, I'm sick & need treatment right away. And many other motivations. Thankfully, you made him go to hospital. There are times, that people need a loved once to step up and say, hey, you got no choice at this point. My hubby had a minor blow out about that subject one time. He told me not to call er if he ever had "a spell". I told him, if he ever had a spell, to put it down, that I would call 911 or whatever. And told him there was no way that I would allow him to just do nothing and allow him to die. He was in fair health at the time. Bear in mind in later years, his health declined and we discussed having a "DNR" do not resuscitate document and was put on hospice. Which he implemented. He went to be w the Lord this past January. The fact that we discussed these issues together & made the legal documents. IN the end were very helpful to everyone involved on an emotional, mental and legal basis..
I was 14 when my Dad had a heart attack in front of me - i had woken up and my mother was on the phone ... My Dad was in pain w/a heating pad on his arm - somehow i knew he was having a heart attack & then he burst out the door and was laying face down on the sidewalk trying to get cool - he said it felt like an elephant was sitting on his chest afterwards... The hospital wasn't concerned and told my mother it was probably just a case of the flu, but she was welcome to bring him in... They then walked my dad into the hospital & misdiagnosed him w/pancreatitis .. He had a massive heart attack 2 days later - he became a case study because he survived... He lived 21 yrs before he had another and passed away😞💜🙏
@@JR-zm2yu to stop a heart attack, IMMEDIATELY give a teaspoon if cayenne pepper in a glass of warm water..stir it in, get them to drink rapidly. It opens up all the bloodvessels. @@karenzupanic718 Very cool re: wheat germ (oil) ... My Dad was born in 1932 & loved wheat germ &shredded wheat cereal ... My Mother was from England and the food is rather bland in comparison to other cultures; hence, Cayenne was not something we used. But my ex-spouse's father was born in El Salvador and used cayenne.... My ex Mother in law's family was from Sicily & oregano etc were key... A very multi nat'l family. So wonderful to see Pollux behind you. He was casually chewing but he was there because he knew you needed his support during this serious talk. Best regards to you all.
You are so lucky! My husband called me into the office telling me those same symptoms.. then he immediately went into cardiac arrest. I'm a retired 911 paramedic and my son was emt.. we started cpr.. over the next 2 hours, we fought like crazy to save him.. but unfortunately my husband passed away. God smiled upon you two. IM so happy for you two!
Oh my goodness! So sorry for your loss! I'm a nurse. With your and your son's background, I can't imagine how you two were feeling. Please know that you did everything possible to save his life. God bless you and your family.
My beloved husband of almost 40 years, at age 64, passed of a heart attack. We'd been 'together, together ' before we went to sleep that eve ~ and when our teenage son came to awaken him in the morning to play a quick video game, like they did each morn before the day got going. Daddy wasn't waking up. It happened to be my mama's b-day that day too. If my darling would have said anything, I hope we would have gone to the ER, I can't say for sure. But let me Thank you for this video, I honestly didn't know most anything of what your dear Randy knew to do instinctively. Blessings of Love to you both and to your family as well. Thank you again, I know you've helped many people by sharing your experience. ✨🙌✨
I just found your channel today and was going to send a comment thanking you for adopting a shelter dog ....then I came upon this video thank you for making this video it took a lot of strength to...under the circumstances my father had the chills before his.... so important to get help
My Dad had a heart attack about a year ago. He survived and had a stent put in. So scary. Great advice to seek out medical care. Great video. I’m so glad your husband went to the ER immediately. Sending love and healing thoughts for today and his future surgery. And hugs to you for being a strong person for him. Hang in there!
Thank you for the kind words. Randy's surgery is coming up. I think once it's behind us....we can move on with life. Right now we are kind of at a stand still.
As Nurse the information you passed on at Randy's request is so important, thank you for using your platform to get it out there. Sending you Randy ,the girls and of course Pollox and Maxie all our love. Randy is a strong man with a wonderful family who will all be there for him as he recovers. Take it easy Randy you need to listen to the docs and of course your wife and get well soon xxxx
Hi Sue!!! The nurses at every level of care have been incredibly wonderful! They have educated us, scared us, treated us, and held us through this crazy journey. Nurses are vital to our healthcare and well-being. Randy has such great men and women caring for him.....we wouldn't be here today without them ❤️

Your videos are such a blessing. My wife will be having a robotic hysterectomy in the near future. Your videos have shown us what to expect. And then I discovered the videos about your husbands heart attack. I retired from Kroger Pharmacy 6 years ago. About a year after retirement the back of my neck and arm on my left side started hurting. I have neck issues so I just shrugged it off and kept going. I headed to the kitchen when I broke out in a cold sweat. Since I was a pharmacist I knew enough medicine to know this is not a good sign. I ate 2 regular aspirins and told my wife I think I am having a heart attack She drove me to the hospital, I walked in while she parked the card. When I announced I was having chest pains they descended on me. They ran several EKG's and drew blood. Because the EKG's were inconclusive they sent me back to the waiting room till the results from the blood test came back. My wife left to get food and while she was gone the came out with a cart and told me to hop on and to cardiac ER we headed. The blood test showed heart muscle damage. The first doctor came in and scared the daylights out of me when he announced we are transferring you to Piedmont in downtown Atlanta for bypass surgery. Luckily another doctor in the group said he could clear the blockages with stents. The next morning(after listening to all the sounds of machines in my Cardiac intensive care room, alarm make noise and wondering if they stopped would I be dead!) I was taken to the cath lab for the first of 2 procedures. The first time they went thru my wrist, the 2nd time thru my groin. I told my wife later that true love was when she changed the dressing on my groin incision! Just had my 6 month checkup and all is well. The hardest part of the entire ordeal was saying I needed help. Sorry to be so wordy but this jus struck a nerve with me.
It's late here in Australia, I was shocked, stunned and there were lots of tears while watching your vlog. Thank God Randy didn't do the normal bloke thing and brush it off. Smart man, Renee he is a keeper. My thoughts and prayers are with you and sending you best wishes for the surgery and a great recovery.🙏👍👍❤
Prayers for Randy and your family. 2 years ago, my husband took our daughter to a movie. From the movie theatre my daughter called me and said, “said something is wrong with Daddy.” I told her to call 911 and I called too. It turned out to be vertigo but looked like a heart attack. So, if you are unwell-get checked out. Thanks for the message and get well.
Hi, you mentioned Heart Burn, My heart attacks usually act like I have Heart Burn, or Gas, and my first Heart Attack was for 5 days as I was driving from Missouri back to Maine. Got home, and went for a check up, and found out that I had been having a heart attack for 5 days, and then put into hospital and had a double by-pass. To date I have had 2 double by-pass, and 3 stints, and now have a pace maker now. So thanks for your video, and it is difficult to tell when people are having a heart attack. To date I have had 6 heart attacks, and 2 minor strokes that I didn't know about. So, my prayers are with you!
My father was fishing when he had a heart attack in 1970 and our Reverend just so happened along to take him to the ER. He died and he was only 36! He left behind 4 kids. I am now 65 and medicine has come a long way. Take care.
My husband had a heart attack at 42 years old. He also was healthy active and never sweated. He survived after 2 stents placed and has been healthy ever sense. But the road to recovery was long and the emontial turmoil was hard. Thinking of your family and for Randys recovery. God has blessed you and has saved his life. May his recovery be speedy
This video is such an important message to everyone. Too often, we ignore the warning signals and just go on with our day. We need to pay attention to our bodies. Thank you for telling us about Randy. I am so happy that he is doing well and you are holding up as well. Prayers and Blessings
On April 14th this yr, I received a call in the morning from my sister, she was crying and all I could make out was dead. My BiL was dead of a massive heart attack he was 51 he also had high blood pressure. They were on vacation, he loaded the suitcases getting ready to head to the airport to fly home. They were standing at the car talking and all of a sudden he hit the ground 911 was called, thank God his daughter was there. She a nursing student started cpr unfortunately to no avail . 45 minutes later a clergy came in and my sister knew he was gone. She is beyond devastated. No symptoms no nothing. Your husband and you are so lucky thank God he made it. I wish you both the best, live every day like it's your last because it could be. Thank you for your story it should be a wake up call to others.
~~~ Randy I thank our LORD for being there for you .. I hope and pray your days are JOYFUL and healthy my friend. Just wanted you to know people out here in internet land care about you...GOD'S JOY..🙏.
Praying for a miracle for his heart. That God is giving the Dr.s wisdom & knowledge for his treatment. God is your source. I will be praying for him & the peace of God for you & your family. 💙🌹
I’m so sorry this has happened, so scary. My dad had a heart attack at 55 and went on to have surgery, he lived for many year’s afterwards. He died aged 81 not heart related. Randy I hope you have a speedy recovery. Listening to your instincts is so important and you will have helped other’s by telling everyone what happened. Take care 💙
I’m so happy Randy is doing well and hope his surgery goes well. I started to tell you about my own heart attack last November, but this isn’t about me. It’s about Randy and you. Clearly I survived. All I want to say is that I truly know what Randy is going through. Again, I wish for a wonderful surgical result and a long happy life for you both. Bless you. I know how frightened you were and still are.
We lost our 2 young adult son's, both tragically & unexpectidly.. Jake who was just 25 in 2019 & DJ who was 27 in 2020. Every day together is a gift.... this is truly just a very harsh reminder of how great a gift, even ONE day more is. I would give anything to have 1 more minute with my son's.... Thank you for sharing your husband's story. My husband is Randy's age & he is the kind of guy who never gets sick. Now we will know, not to wait.. even if it is a false alarm, at least we will know & be sure. There is no turning back time if it is too late. Love & prayers for a fast & complete recovery to your husband!! There is no telling how many lives will be saved from the ripple effects of sharing your story. Thank you!
I was a CCU nurse for many years...I remember SO many 52 yo male with _____MI (Myocardial Infarction=heart attack), was heard over and over again. Men in prime of their lives! I am so glad he did what he did and that his prognosis is good! Y'all both appear healthy and happy so my prayer is he just continues to get better and has no further problems 😊
I see Pollux as a very sensitive dog. He seems to know when there are concerns and fears. He looks like he is both supporting you with his presence and also taking out his anxiety on a stuffed animal as well. I love you, sweet Pollux. You are like a part of my family. Renee, I also love the way you sit on the floor often when you do videos because that is where the dogs are!
I love that Randy is smiling and seems like his usual laid-back self, while still in the hospital, so soon after his/your terrorizing ordeal. I'm very happy that he made it through this and that he is going to be okay. I knew Randy was going to be okay; but I broke down in tears while you talked about your Facetime with the nurse. That must have been so hard for you, so scary. On a lighter note, I love that Pollux is supporting you in the background, and comforting me as I listen to your story. 🥰🤎🐕
I am a new viewer and although I don't know you guys I want to say "Kudos!" to Randy for going to the ER. A lot of people go into denial. Thank God! Prayers for the whole family.
My daughter had the same thing, and suffered a stroke 6 weeks after the birth of her son. Thank God, as a nurse, she knew she was having a stroke and got meds in the ER right away that saved her. She also had the corrective surgery. Thank God your husband is fine and will have many more fruitful years. Thank you for this video and warning others about getting right into the hospital. It saves lives.
Never saw your channel before today but you did an Amazing job explaining what you went thru. As a retired Nurse he had all the symptoms classic. The thing is that people just don't realize that these symptoms are & are usually ignored. So glad that he did the right thing. Prayers for the journey forward.
Renee I am so sorry to hear this news. 🥲 Randy was very lucky that he got to the hospital so quickly. You all have been dealing with so much with your Mom having health issues too. You are such a strong woman, thank you for sharing such a personal time in your lives. Thank you to Randy, if this saves one life, it will be worth it. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
I am so sorry to hear this , but I'm so glad that he's ok. He looks so healthy, but it must have been congenital, so no matter how healthy he is, it would have hapoened anyway. Thank God he's ok. I'm saying prayers for him!
I am so sorry for your loss. The same thing happened to my fiancé in 2000. I pray for your healing heart. My Richard came to me in a dream and showered me with so much love after he died. I know he went to Heaven. I pray that you will live your life and find love again. I did. Sending love to you sweetheart.
I'll be praying for Randy's full recovery. How scary this must be for you. I'm glad he listened to his body and is willing to share his story that may save a life.
I'm sorry, and glad he came through it ok. My husband had his first heart attack at 42. He went into full cardiac arrest. They had to shock him twice. He went to the cath lab and had three stents put in. 10 years later he had another one. He ended up having by-pass surgery. He's still alive. We were so lucky. Hang in there.
Thanks for making this video it’s very important so glad he came through thanks for sharing all this and your wonderful family including the fabulous canines the sunny Pollux and occasionally grumpy Maxie😬
Thank you Randy for asking Renee to do this video. My father died at 49 from a massive heart attack. Im sure your video will save someone. So much love and prayers going out to your family❤️❤️❤️
As the Medical field person, Randy did a very brave decision for his heart! May God bless and give you strength to both of you !! Renee Make sure to feed him a healthy meal, No stress just relax as much as he can!!
I'm so sorry Rene. Went through this with my husband when he was 48 years old; few years ago. It is scary. My prayers and thoughts are with you and y our family that he regains his strength. I know he'll have lots of love and support.🙏
My mom is a STEMI survivor. She had what they called a widow maker heart attack and is 5 years out now. Multiple stents, cardiac rehab, and for a few weeks had to wear a life vest that would shock her if her heart stopped. Everything in your story is so familiar and takes me back to that awful night... truly terrifying and I'm so sorry you guys had to go through this. Definitely the worst part was seeing how scared she was. I am so glad your husband is still here today.
As extremely difficult it was for you two to deliver this video please know you are indeed helping others. Today am making an medical appointment for my husband. With tears I am so sorry this has happened, you all will be in my daily prayers.
HI Renee,I was shocked to hear that your husband, Randy, had a massive heart attack. The times I've seen him in your videos he seemed so very healthy. Thank you for the message that not even one little symptom that you think you may be having should be ignored. I will be praying for your husband and I will be praying for you and your family. May God guide the hands of the surgeon who does his surgery. Don't be afraid to have a good cry. It will help with the stress that you are feeling right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. 🙏🏼🌷🦋🌞🌈
Ladies it’s nit a hot flash all the time. I will share your story for awareness.
Dearest Renee, this is the first time I've written although my husband and I have been watching your videos for over a year and have fallen in love with your family including Maxie and Pollux. I cried along with you as you shared your story. The more you and Rnady share it, the more people you will hopefully save. We know our bodies better than anyone and have to listen to anything out of the norm. Thank God Randy did that!! We're praying for you all and especially that Randy's surgery goes well.
Very important message! I just lost my dad about a heart attack. He didn't went to the hospital immediatly and wait so long until he told us he felt bad. Thank you
The pain in the neck probably was related. My mom had 2 stents and then a TAVR procedure to repair valves in her heart. She's still on recovery ( it was 3 weeks ago) and her body is still adjusting to the blood flow ( according to cardiologist) and one of her symptoms when she's overdone it some is pain on each side of her neck where the carotid artery is. Her BP jumps, her neck hurts and she's so fatigued she has to lie down. Now anytime my neck hurts I freak myself out.
@@WelcomeToMyCurls Heart problems are so stressful for everyone involved. Your hubby has his health and age working in his favor though and that's a good thing. I'm having a stress test (already scheduled) on Monday. I'm so glad I'm having it done after watching this. I'm so glad Randy is doing so well. Prayers for you both.
I understand in my years of anyone having a massive heart attack means you actually die from that! My dad had a massive heart attack killed him. My X husband just had many by passes but than died of a massive heart attack that killed him a year ago. My son almost died of first heart attack, than went into the hospital & had a stent put in. Than two years ago died of a massive heart attack which meant he died instantly. So them saying massive heart attack I wonder why doctors say that? My son said he had a little pain in his arm two weeks before. But he had quit taking his meds for about 5 years because he said made him sick. My son didn’t:(.
Oh Renee, I so sorry to hear about Randy.. I enjoy his input to your channel, man of not too many words but a delight to watch.. sending you all love, best wishes from Australia.. xx
I just discovered your channel and happened to see this. It speaks to me because my husband of 50 plus years also is a heart attack survivor. He ended up with a stent and takes medication now. 6 years later, everything is fine, but both of us are clearly aware of how fragile life is, and we try to make the most of each day. Cheers to you and your hubby.
So glad this video passed by while scrolling! Renee’, Randy absolutely made the right decision to go to hospital right then! Thank you, Randy, for caring about others, requesting this be shared! I do believe you were guided to that ER by your Creator, and that He was right by the Medical Staff, as they worked with you! He knew you had more to do in this life, and wanted to use you to get this word out, concerning Symptoms if Heart Attack, and how important it is to go to ER right away! Minutes count? Prayers for your healing and blessings your children and your beautiful wife, Renee’, and your life together! God has given you all that back, and then some! I'm shocked at such a young age. I will pray for Randy and your family that he heals and continues his happy life with your wonderful family. God Bless.
I am so happy that he trusted his gut, got to the ER and that he is ok now. Thank goodness he was in good shape which I'm sure helped in his recovery. Your tearfulness truly touched my heart.I am passing this on to my husband for him to watch and take note. Please thank your husband for sharing this information.
Thank you for sharing this. My husband was just 53 when he had really bad pain in his neck and I think somewhere else. He didn't say much, thought he'd been caught in a draft, He sent my son for painkillers. He had a massive heart attack 12hrs later and was dead before he hit the ground. He was fit, not overweight. Nine years later I still ask myself how did I not see he was sick. But the truth is he'd seen his brother just an hour before and he hadn't realised. I think the only clue was he'd asked my son to drive home from his brothers, which is something he'd never normally do. We live in Greece my son lives in Scotland... so driving on the other side of the road is difficult. If only he'd gone to the hospital he may have been saved. .. I wish your husband only the very best
God blessed you all. Randy’s knowledge of the symptoms of a heart attack was paramount to his survival. As a registered nurse, I have witnessed such sad results that have happened because of denial. Patients sometimes give the excuse that they “didn’t want to bother us”! Bother us! That’s what we are here for! Randy does have an unusual possible cause of the attack but the symptoms are the same. I had a patient who came to see me and complained of slight jaw pain and some shortness of breath. Got him directly to ER as he was having the heart attack. He even fought me about going. Listen to that inner voice. Don’t take chances. I commend you so much in recanting what you have all gone through. It is hard to talk about almost losing your loved one. You are a strong, educated, responsible and loving partner to Randy. You have been given time. Make the greatest use of it. Will be looking for your video. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers daily.
1st and foremost , I am so happy Randy survived. As a wife , daughter, sister and Registered Nurse I thank you both for sharing this information. So many times people ignore or don’t know the warning signs of heart attack and stroke . I wish Randy a speedy recovery and continued blessings to you both.
Oh Renee I am so shocked and sorry to hear the trauma that Randy, you and your wonderful family have been through. Surely all the love, care and kindness that you have spread far and wide via your great little channel have resulted in such a positive outcome for your husband. And thank you Renee for being such a brave lady in producing this moving tribute to Randy and his amazing care team who sprung into action and saved his life. Bless you all and much love to your little furry friends - it was nice to see Pollux playing in the background - Pollux and Maxie will have given you loads of hugs throughout this difficult time. So lots of love, hugs and kisses to everyone from Glasgow, Scotland. XXXX
Thank you for sharing with us. I am so glad Randy is fine now. It makes me realize that we should be taking good care of our health and don’t eat those unhealthy food.
Your husband probably saved another man’s life by now! Thank you for the information, which you have described in detail: the neck pain might occur more often before the infarct occurs? God is speaking through your husband's voice! I wish your husband a very good recovery and all the best for you and your family!
Oh my goodness Renee, my stomach flipped when I seen your thumbnail in my recommendations. Im so sorry for what you guys have been going through. You are so strong to make this video and I really can't thank Randy enough for pushing you to make it. This video will save lives. If I ever experience any symptoms (I know they can be different for woman) I will not hesitate in calling an ambulance. Im so glad Randy is okay. I cried along with you Renee, its hard to see you upset. Please take all the time you guys need. We will be here no matter what. Sending all my love to you all. It will be all okay ❤
I returned to the hospital on my first anniversary of my heart attack. I went to the cath lab, ICU , Step down clinic and bought the day & night shifts food. They said thanks for coming because once people leave the hospital, they don't know if they are alive or dead & often read obituaries. Also thanks for remembering the night shift (no one remembers them🤔.
Oh Precious! I’m sorry to hear this! Thankful Randy went right on to ER and they have him on the mend. Will be praying for his next procedure! Wish I could give you a hug Precious One! 😘
I'm glad Randy had you make this video. It could save other lives. You two are very brave. I feel for you, but at least he did what he should have done. A scary time for you and your family. I admire you and your family. Prayers for you all. 🙏
Wow, my heart goes out to you both! I can see the pain and worry in your eyes! So happy to hear that Randy knew what to do and everything turned out! Thank you for making this video, it could totally save someone! Thanks Randy for encouraging you to do it! ❤️❤️❤️
I am so thankful that Randy is ok. What a blessing. Thank you for sharing this important video. You never know how many lives this may save. Prayers for Randy's continued healing, and prayers of peace for you and your daughters.
THIS NEEDS TO BE SAID AND REMINDED OFTEN...THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR SPEAKING FOR RANDY. SOME LEAVE THE EMR AND HAVE THE ATTACK IN THE MORNING SHRUG IT OFF BECAUSE THEY HAD BEEN SENT HOME THEN ITS ALL OVER. ANOTHER THING WITH AN ATTACK THERE CAN BE BLOOD CLOTS ON THE LUNGS. THIS VIDEO IS FAR MORE VALUABLE THEN ONE REALIZES. NEVER IGNORE ANY SYMPTOMS MENTIONED FROM RANDYS EXPERIENCE. ...THERE ARE OTHER SYMPTOMS AS WELL..SHOULDER BLADE PAIN...PAIN INSIDE THE UPPER ARM..( OR DULL ACHE IN ARM OR CHEST)..PRESSURE IN THE CHEST OR HEART AREA..NAUSEA..UPSET STOMACH..CHEST PAIN ..LISTEN TO THIS VIDEO MORE THEN ONCE - TAKE NOTES. He's feeling better but very anxious about what's ahead. The 2nd and final procedure is coming up in a few weeks. I'll keep everyone posted. Thank you for the uplifting and kind words ♥️
Thank god Randy was so clear-headed and quick acting! What a great reminder for all of us.
Angels were standing near Randy providing whispers of advice to listen to his body. Bless you and Randy for the 2nd chance for your lives together.
Well Randy is one heck of a guy. He is willing to share his story to help others. I pray that he stays healthy.
May he heal up completely..no more scares
My husband died of a heart attack 10/30/21 we’ve been married 35 years and is now in Heaven.
I’m so lost and beyond broken.
So sorry for you 😞 . You have my condolences.
Did you mean 2020?
Been through it, only cancer. Please know that you will get through it. The first year is by far the toughest. Be gentle with yourself. Blessings.
As a nurse I am thrilled he has done so well. He acted quickly and this saved his life. My brother had the same symptoms but no hole. He was on lots of meds...fast forward 6 months later now he is great, minimal meds, and healthier . Your message will change more lives than any doctor or nurse talking to others. Thank you
God Bless You.
I am so sorry....God give you strength!!
Oh my... I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you. Sending you hugs and prayers. God is close to the broken hearted. May He comfort you during this difficult time. 🙏😪
In 5... I'm so sorry for your loss. My 56 year old husband died suddenly last October. He was a bit grumpy that evening but didn't look ill and didn't say anything about feeling unwell. It just seemed like he'd suddenly fallen asleep but I couldn't wake him. Paramedics came quickly but couldn't resuscitate him. If only we'd known something was wrong. He had high blood pressure and died of a heart attack caused by atherosclerosis and hypertensive heart disease. He was seemingly fit... walked, cycled, played cricket, had a busy job that he loved. It's made me realise how fragile life is and how suddenly things can come crashing down. I know he's in heaven and I will see him again, but I miss him very much. x
@@SavedByTheBLOOD04 thank you. It means a lot to me that people care and will pray for me.
My father was the disbelieve that he could be sick. He walked all the way to his car in freezing weather drove to our family Dr. Who called an ambulance and he died. So I hope people listen to your warnings because I grew up without a father. I was 25 when he died and I will never stop missing him. Thank,the Lord that Randy is a smart man and God bless you both.
I am so sorry for the loss of ur daddy. Thank you for sharing "ur story". Its very important we hear both sides. But again, I am so sorry for ur loss.
So sorry!
💞 You & your Dad may have saved a life today, by sharing your story. Thank you so much.
So very sorry for your loss. My grandpa died at 52, same age as Randy. He mowed the lawn, didn’t feel well, came in & sat down - by the time the ambulance arrived he was gone. My grandmother was only 48 years old. I was 2 & crazy as it sounds, I remember riding in the car with my Granddady, feeling so loved & secure. Wonderful men like my grandfather & your father left us too soon. 💔
I had a heart attack when I turned 50. My cardiologist inserted a stent. When I turned 60, which was 10 years to the day, I had another heart attack and all arteries were blocked. I had open heart. My left arm felt like my arm was going to blow up from the inside out. I had chest pains. Randy did the right thing. He will be okay.
Take cayenne pepper in water every day and you won't get another one...
@@karenzupanic718
How much cayenne?
@@anacolon1142 start of with 1/4 teaspoon in warm water, once a day. Gradually move up to 1 teaspoon/ day (however feels comfortable..just allows your body to adapt to it).
Do it for the rest of your life...
Hope that helps...good luck!
Thanks for the tip.
As an RN cardiology nurse I have never seen cayenne pepper documented in the medical literature . Please check with your personal licensed medical doctor, nurse practitioner, or licensed physician's assistant.
I’m so glad he’s okay and no damage to heart. My husband had heart attack at 46 working out at YMCA. I was their with him. He was in the shower their just happen to be a fireman paramedic their. Called ambulance took him to hospital. Head of cardiology was their in a meeting. Put two stents in. He has no damage to his heart. He’s 56 in great shape today. God watches over us. He’s not finished with Randy yet! He still has work to do for Him.
God Bless y’all!
A heart attack by definition is damage to the heart.
💚 What life-saving synchronicities. So glad the paramedic was at the Y ... and the top cardio guy was at the hospital. 💞
I’m so glad your beloved Randy is ok and doing well. It sounds like he’s in good hands, both his medical personnel and his Savior. What I’m going to say don’t take as a criticism please!
I’m a retired RN of 35+ yrs, worked in Emergency Room. If anyone is experiencing symptoms of heart attack, call 911.
You could pass out if driving self and cause an accident, if you have someone else drive, you could be losing precious time. The EMS personnel can get your EKG, confer with ED physicians and give meds while transporting you and save time, thereby saving heart tissue. And the Emergency Room will be ready to give you the best care they can.
Very well said!
Excellent advice! I forgot about all the capabilities of the ambulance. Thank you !
Awesome advice !!!
Well stated Arnie. That was what I was thinking also. No denigration meant. Hindsight is 20/20 though. It's always good to have certain info filed away in your brain so that when such a scenario happens one can make this best decisions when they happen. And for the purpose of this video, his decision to opt for the hospital instead of work was a good one. Most people would just go on to work.
That might work in the city but in my rural area it’s 20min drive for me vs 1-2hrs for an ambulance to get here.
My dad had a heart attack right in front of me. The sweat just poured down his face, and yet he wouldn't go to the hospital. I finally called his doctor, and made him go. That night he had another massive one. Luckily he survived. I am so happy Randy had sense to go, and I pray for the both of you.
Very glad your dad survived. Even more glad that you made him go. Many people are notorious for not heeding their symptoms and refusing to go to hospital when clearly they should. There are many motivations, such as denial, fear, some people lack self awareness of their own bodies enough to say, I'm sick & need treatment right away. And many other motivations. Thankfully, you made him go to hospital. There are times, that people need a loved once to step up and say, hey, you got no choice at this point. My hubby had a minor blow out about that subject one time. He told me not to call er if he ever had "a spell". I told him, if he ever had a spell, to put it down, that I would call 911 or whatever. And told him there was no way that I would allow him to just do nothing and allow him to die. He was in fair health at the time. Bear in mind in later years, his health declined and we discussed having a "DNR" do not resuscitate document and was put on hospice. Which he implemented. He went to be w the Lord this past January. The fact that we discussed these issues together & made the legal documents. IN the end were very helpful to everyone involved on an emotional, mental and legal basis..
I was 14 when my Dad had a heart attack in front of me - i had woken up and my mother was on the phone ... My Dad was in pain w/a heating pad on his arm - somehow i knew he was having a heart attack & then he burst out the door and was laying face down on the sidewalk trying to get cool - he said it felt like an elephant was sitting on his chest afterwards... The hospital wasn't concerned and told my mother it was probably just a case of the flu, but she was welcome to bring him in... They then walked my dad into the hospital & misdiagnosed him w/pancreatitis .. He had a massive heart attack 2 days later - he became a case study because he survived... He lived 21 yrs before he had another and passed away😞💜🙏
@@JR-zm2yu to stop a heart attack, IMMEDIATELY give a teaspoon if cayenne pepper in a glass of warm water..stir it in, get them to drink rapidly. It opens up all the bloodvessels. Your videos are such a blessing. My wife will be having a robotic hysterectomy in the near future. Your videos have shown us what to expect. And then I discovered the videos about your husbands heart attack. I retired from Kroger Pharmacy 6 years ago. About a year after retirement the back of my neck and arm on my left side started hurting. I have neck issues so I just shrugged it off and kept going. I headed to the kitchen when I broke out in a cold sweat. Since I was a pharmacist I knew enough medicine to know this is not a good sign. I ate 2 regular aspirins and told my wife I think I am having a heart attack She drove me to the hospital, I walked in while she parked the card. When I announced I was having chest pains they descended on me. They ran several EKG's and drew blood. Because the EKG's were inconclusive they sent me back to the waiting room till the results from the blood test came back. My wife left to get food and while she was gone the came out with a cart and told me to hop on and to cardiac ER we headed. The blood test showed heart muscle damage. The first doctor came in and scared the daylights out of me when he announced we are transferring you to Piedmont in downtown Atlanta for bypass surgery. Luckily another doctor in the group said he could clear the blockages with stents. The next morning(after listening to all the sounds of machines in my Cardiac intensive care room, alarm make noise and wondering if they stopped would I be dead!) I was taken to the cath lab for the first of 2 procedures. The first time they went thru my wrist, the 2nd time thru my groin. I told my wife later that true love was when she changed the dressing on my groin incision! Just had my 6 month checkup and all is well. The hardest part of the entire ordeal was saying I needed help. Sorry to be so wordy but this jus struck a nerve with me.
So sad, even Pollux understands..... he’s sticking close to mom. Prayers for Randy. 🙏
They were standing at the car talking and all of a sudden he hit the ground 911 was called, thank God his daughter was there. Never saw your channel before today but you did an Amazing job explaining what you went thru. As a retired Nurse he had all the symptoms classic. The thing is that people just don't realize that these symptoms are & are usually ignored. So glad that he did the right thing. Prayers for the journey forward.
Renee I am so sorry to hear this news. 🥲 Randy was very lucky that he got to the hospital so quickly. You all have been dealing with so much with your Mom having health issues too. You are such a strong woman, thank you for sharing such a personal time in your lives. Thank you to Randy, if this saves one life, it will be worth it. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
I am so sorry to hear this , but I'm so glad that he's ok. He looks so healthy, but it must have been congenital, so no matter how healthy he is, it would have hapoened anyway. Thank God he's ok. I'm saying prayers for him!
I’m happy he listened to his inner voice! Try and get some rest. Be at peace. God bless
My fiancé had a heart attack in February. He never made it to the hospital. He passed on the way. God be with you and Randy.
I am so sorry for your loss. The same thing happened to my fiancé in 2000. I pray for your healing heart. My Richard came to me in a dream and showered me with so much love after he died. I know he went to Heaven. I pray that you will live your life and find love again. I did. Sending love to you sweetheart.
Oh Barbara! I am so sorry!!
I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your fiance, my heart goes out to you. I pray you find love again.
I'm so sorry for your loss
That is tragic, so sorry.
I'll be praying for Randy's full recovery. How scary this must be for you. I'm glad he listened to his body and is willing to share his story that may save a life.
I'm sorry, and glad he came through it ok. My husband had his first heart attack at 42. He went into full cardiac arrest. They had to shock him twice. He went to the cath lab and had three stents put in. 10 years later he had another one. He ended up having by-pass surgery. He's still alive. We were so lucky. Hang in there.
Thanks for making this video it’s very important so glad he came through thanks for sharing all this and your wonderful family including the fabulous canines the sunny Pollux and occasionally grumpy Maxie😬
Thanks for making this video it’s very important so glad he cam e through thanks for sharing all this and your wonderful family including the fabulous canines the sunny Pollux and occasionally grumpy Maxie😬
Thank you Randy for asking Renee to do this video. My father died at 49 from a massive heart attack. Im sure your video will save someone. So much love and prayers going out to your family❤️❤️❤️
❤❤❤
As the Medical field person, Randy did a very brave decision for his heart! May God bless and give you strength to both of you !! Renee Make sure to feed him a healthy meal, No stress just relax as much as he can!!
I'm so sorry Rene. Went through this with my husband when he was 48 years old; few years ago. It is scary. My prayers and thoughts are with you and y our family that he regains his strength. I know he'll have lots of love and support.🙏
My mom is a STEMI survivor. She had what they called a widow maker heart attack and is 5 years out now. Multiple stents, cardiac rehab, and for a few weeks had to wear a life vest that would shock her if her heart stopped. Everything in your story is so familiar and takes me back to that awful night... truly terrifying and I'm so sorry you guys had to go through this. Definitely the worst part was seeing how scared she was. I am so glad your husband is still here today.
God Bless your Mom ❤️🙏🏻
God will see you through this. Many, many prayers for you and your husband.
Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, King of Kings💜🙏🏻💜
Amen Praise Jesus 🌻💛
I'm so happy Randy is doing ok now. He is in my prays.
As extremely difficult it was for you two to deliver this video please know you are indeed helping others. Today am making an medical appointment for my husband. With tears I am so sorry this has happened, you all will be in my daily prayers.
We all just love Randy, his sense of humor comes through even in the background. So happy he's recovering. And there is still that mischievous smile.
HI Renee,I was shocked to hear that your husband, Randy, had a massive heart attack. The times I've seen him in your videos he seemed so very healthy. Thank you for the message that not even one little symptom that you think you may be having should be ignored. I will be praying for your husband and I will be praying for you and your family. May God guide the hands of the surgeon who does his surgery. Don't be afraid to have a good cry. It will help with the stress that you are feeling right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. 🙏🏼🌷🦋🌞🌈
I lost 47 yr old family member that did not go to ER. He past 2 hospitals on the way home laid down after getting home and died. Yes you right if a person not feeling good nauseous headache feeling funny or anything left pain on body. Also burning sensation in middle chest they need to go to ER.
Yes the sweat. Ladies it’s nit a hot flash all the time.
I will share your story for awareness.
Dearest Renee, this is the first time I've written although my husband and I have been watching your videos for over a year and have fallen in love with your family including Maxie and Pollux. I cried along with you as you shared your story. The more you and Rnady share it, the more people you will hopefully save. We know our bodies better than anyone and have to listen to anything out of the norm. Thank God Randy did that!! We're praying for you all and especially that Randy's surgery goes well.
Very important message! I just lost my dad about a heart attack. He didn't went to the hospital immediatly and wait so long until he told us he felt bad. Thank you
The pain in the neck probably was related. My mom had 2 stents and then a TAVR procedure to repair valves in her heart. She's still on recovery ( it was 3 weeks ago) and her body is still adjusting to the blood flow ( according to cardiologist) and one of her symptoms when she's overdone it some is pain on each side of her neck where the carotid artery is. Her BP jumps, her neck hurts and she's so fatigued she has to lie down. Now anytime my neck hurts I freak myself out.
Right now, Randy is afraid to cough, sneeze, jump etc. He's remaining very calm out of fear until the hole is repaired.
@@WelcomeToMyCurls Heart problems are so stressful for everyone involved. Your hubby has his health and age working in his favor though and that's a good thing. My moms cardiologist is in Abilene and he has been wonderful. Stay positive. Attitude and positivity help more than you know. Trust in your team and lean on your support system. Y'all got this!
Renee, you have been a ray of sunshine during this past pandemic year. You and books (I’m a librarianI’ve cheered you on
I'm having a stress test (already scheduled) on Monday. I'm so glad I'm having it done after watching this. I'm so glad Randy is doing so well. Prayers for you both.
I understand in my years of anyone having a massive heart attack means you actually die from that! My dad had a massive heart attack killed him. My X husband just had many by passes but than died of a massive heart attack that killed him a year ago. My son almost died of first heart attack, than went into the hospital & had a stent put in. Than two years ago died of a massive heart attack which meant he died instantly. So them saying massive heart attack I wonder why doctors say that? My son said he had a little pain in his arm two weeks before. But he had quit taking his meds for about 5 years because he said made him sick. My son didn’t:(.
I'm so sorry you lost so many loved ones. ♡
I'm so sorry for your losses of your loved ones 😔🌷 my mom died of a massive heart attack wen I was 25 she was fine one min then the next she was gone although I did call the ambulance.they took a bit to get to us. My left arm went numb a couple of days ago and my heart hurt feeling better today and I have a Dr appointment tomorrow
Oh Renee... poor Randy. Sending lot of love n hugs.
I witnessed my Dad having a heart attack, so I understand the emotional strain it puts on the family. Wishing your husband a speedy recovery 🌍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌍
Oh Renee, I so sorry to hear about Randy.. I enjoy his input to your channel, man of not too many words but a delight to watch.. sending you all love, best wishes from Australia.. xx
I just discovered your channel and happened to see this. It speaks to me because my husband of 50 plus years also is a heart attack survivor. He ended up with a stent and takes medication now. 6 years later, everything is fine, but both of us are clearly aware of how fragile life is, and we try to make the most of each day. Cheers to you and your hubby.
So glad this video passed by while scrolling! Renee’, Randy absolutely made the right decision to go to hospital right then! Thank you, Randy, for caring about others, requesting this be shared! I do believe you were guided to that ER by your Creator, and that He was right by the Medical Staff, as they worked with you! He knew you had more to do in this life, and wanted to use you to get this word out, concerning Symptoms if Heart Attack, and how important it is to go to ER right away! Minutes count?
Prayers for your healing and blessings your children and your beautiful wife, Renee’, and your life together! God has given you all that back, and then some! Blessings, 🙏♥️✌️
P.S. your curls are lovely, as well as silver color! The markings n front(dark streak) is just like mine, and it’s grow out long, now, at 70! You’re still young! 😊
Thank God Randy drove straight to the Hospital!! You, Randy and your Daughters are in my thoughts and prayers! He's in good hands now and was extremely lucky! Best Wishes to All of You from Ireland .... God Bless you all and wishing Randy a speedy recovery! Thank you for passing on Randy's message .... it's always good to be well informed! 💜💚💜
He drove to Hospital?
Renee I was almost in tears watching this. What a shock. Please pass on my sincere good wishes to Randy.
I'm shocked at such a young age. I will pray for Randy and your family that he heals and continues his happy life with your wonderful family. God Bless.
I am so happy that he trusted his gut, got to the ER and that he is ok now. Thank goodness he was in good shape which I'm sure helped in his recovery. Your tearfulness truly touched my heart.I am passing this on to my husband for him to watch and take note. Please thank your husband for sharing this information.
Thank you for sharing this.
My husband was just 53 when he had really bad pain in his neck and I think somewhere else. He didn't say much, thought he'd been caught in a draft, He sent my son for painkillers. He had a massive heart attack 12hrs later and was dead before he hit the ground. He was fit, not overweight. Nine years later I still ask myself how did I not see he was sick. But the truth is he'd seen his brother just an hour before and he hadn't realised. I think the only clue was he'd asked my son to drive home from his brothers, which is something he'd never normally do. We live in Greece my son lives in Scotland... so driving on the other side of the road is difficult.
If only he'd gone to the hospital he may have been saved. .. I wish your husband only the very best
God blessed you all. Randy’s knowledge of the symptoms of a heart attack was paramount to his survival. As a registered nurse, I have witnessed such sad results that have happened because of denial. Patients sometimes give the excuse that they “didn’t want to bother us”! Bother us! That’s what we are here for! Randy does have an unusual possible cause of the attack but the symptoms are the same. I had a patient who came to see me and complained of slight jaw pain and some shortness of breath. Got him directly to ER as he was having the heart attack. He even fought me about going. Listen to that inner voice. Don’t take chances. I commend you so much in recanting what you have all gone through. It is hard to talk about almost losing your loved one. You are a strong, educated, responsible and loving partner to Randy. You have been given time. Make the greatest use of it. Will be looking for your video. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers daily.
Oh Renee, how frightening! I’m so glad Randy survived. It sounds like he has an amazing team. And he has you. ❤️
My thoughts are with you from over here in England, get well very soon.
I'm happy your husband is okay. I'm grateful to your husband for wanting to share his experience.👏🏿👏🏿
1st and foremost , I am so happy Randy survived. As a wife , daughter, sister and Registered Nurse I thank you both for sharing this information. So many times people ignore or don’t know the warning signs of heart attack and stroke . I wish Randy a speedy recovery and continued blessings to you both.
Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry to hear this. Your both such nice people!
Oh Renee I am so shocked and sorry to hear the trauma that Randy, you and your wonderful family have been through. Surely all the love, care and kindness that you have spread far and wide via your great little channel have resulted in such a positive outcome for your husband. And thank you Renee for being such a brave lady in producing this moving tribute to Randy and his amazing care team who sprung into action and saved his life. Bless you all and much love to your little furry friends - it was nice to see Pollux playing in the background - Pollux and Maxie will have given you loads of hugs throughout this difficult time. So lots of love, hugs and kisses to everyone from Glasgow, Scotland. XXXX
Thank you both for reminding us that every minute counts. To get to hospital as fast as you can.
Thank you for sharing with us. I am so glad Randy is fine now. It makes me realize that we should be taking good care of our health and don’t eat those unhealthy food.
Your husband probably saved another man’s life by now! Thank you for the information, which you have described in detail: the neck pain might occur more often before the infarct occurs? God is speaking through your husband's voice! I wish your husband a very good recovery and all the best for you and your family!
I’m so glad Randy is ok! That must have been terrifying! Thank you for this video it may save lives. 🙏💞
Oh my goodness Renee, my stomach flipped when I seen your thumbnail in my recommendations. Im so sorry for what you guys have been going through. You are so strong to make this video and I really can't thank Randy enough for pushing you to make it. This video will save lives. If I ever experience any symptoms (I know they can be different for woman) I will not hesitate in calling an ambulance. Im so glad Randy is okay. I cried along with you Renee, its hard to see you upset. Please take all the time you guys need. We will be here no matter what. Sending all my love to you all. It will be all okay ❤
🥺😭 I wish doctors could save my dad. He died very young from this 😔
I returned to the hospital on my first anniversary of my heart attack. I went to the cath lab, ICU , Step down clinic and bought the day & night shifts food. They said thanks for coming because once people leave the hospital, they don't know if they are alive or dead & often read obituaries. Also thanks for remembering the night shift (no one remembers them🤔.
god bless. so happy randy is recovering! every day is a blessing!
God Bless you and Randy. God wasn’t ready to take Randy. Great message for all to heed! Hugs!
Oh Precious! I’m sorry to hear this! Thankful Randy went right on to ER and they have him on the mend. Will be praying for his next procedure! Wish I could give you a hug Precious One! 😘
