  • 📌 Hello everyone, today I am showing you how to brew roasted oolong tea - 大红袍/Da Hong Pao - with HARIO's Cha Cha Kyusu "Zen" (300ml).
大红袍/Da Hong Pao is a style of roasted oolong from the Fujian province, China. Roasted Oolong Tea undergoes post-production "curing" of the leaves and typically are roasted or baked at low temperatures for long intervals. The most outstanding quality is that the aroma is fragrant with a unique orchid fragrance, the fragrance is high with a long-lasting sweet aftertaste that comes from the roast process. Drinking Da Hong Pao could bring benefits which mitigate weariness and help blood circulation. And it could also treat edema and water retention. Moreover, it helps decrease the negative effects of drinking and smoking.

Does the lid fall into the body when the strainer is not in place. Reviews on Amazon complain that the lid gets stuck while washing and eventually breaking?
I see Hario has teapots in different designs, any specific reason to choose zen over maru and fukami?
    Thank you

      The lid doesnt fall down.
The 450ml Zen has a much larger strainer compared to the other two. For 300ml all of them are pretty good and it comes down to aesthetics.
Make sure to order from Amazon Japan to possibly save some money.
