Tip,
If you’re playing alone no need to waste resources on code locks for your base, as key locks are cheaper and just as efficient.
But if you have a teammate or more you should use code locks because it means they don’t have to get a key from you to open all the doors but instead they can just enter the code you set on the doors. (:
Honestly, I would say: never use keys at any point. If you just put down the starter have a dedicated door opener for the time being. keys suck!

Why
1. bind hover loot to a mouse button, not left click.
2. I don't think streamer mode changes your name for other people
3. i would reccomend setting your fov to 90.
Helpful stuff!
- in f1 console, writing graphics.vm_fov_scale false. This will make your gun not scale with fov when aiming in
- rust isnt all about stealth, it depends what gear you have
- its better trying to make a play with an eoka rather than a bow
- Learn ak spray before you use it
- low DPI AND SENSITIVITY is best for gun spraying, reccomended for ak spray is 0.6 in game and 800 dpi

Me: 400 dpi 0,2 ingame
Damn .6 800 dpi isn’t low in the slightest, I use 400 .11 ads and .30 normal, and I got those thousands of hours he’s talking about
Having walls the wrong way round on purpose is a terrible idea because everyone loves a good eco Raid
I’ve had it work quite well in the past. Not all walks but like an outer airlock wall
did it, they had nothing :(
if it's just the airlock wall, using tools on the wood door, or stone wall soft side comes down to about the same time. this tip is actually my single takeaway from this video, but i liked it for that :)
Doesn’t matter I’d the soft side health is still more than the door itself. Soft side stone is harder to breach than a wooden door

Instead of using left control for quick looting if you have side mouse buttons (mouse 3) and (mouse 4) use those for hover loot way more efficient even if it’s by a millisecond

Great vid but I disagree with the recycling. Your first priority should be getting small furnace/s in your base so you can start churning out metal frags, sulfur, hqm and charcoal. That way you can keep all of the random materials you will need later while cooking up at your base. Sulfur and metal ores are everywhere. Always a good feeling to come back to your base and scoop out all your new mats from the furnaces. IMO
Thanks! You’re not wrong my only thought with that tip is to get the metal door before you log off and sometimes it takes me a bit too much time to get a furnace and refine.

I use around 120low grade / base and trust me 99% of the time it's worth it... so it's worth the loot.
When they go threw the wood door there is a metal so they can’t flame thrower it

For the first tip, when I bind left click it removes my shooting bind and then I can't shoot bows or weapons, how do I fix that?
I’ll check again. Maybe they fixed this but when I made the guide it definitely bound without changing shoot

I guess you can’t double bind them anymore
You can always use a macro on your computer. Not going to go in detail but steel series keyboard and others are easily macro able. Just assign hover key to a key that doesn’t affect your gameplay and bind it with left click. Technically when you’re shooting you’ll be also hitting that key as well but it won’t affect anything.

Abdullah Shaalan it messes with inventory management a bit but I have no issues with shooting
For me when i did the keybind i wasnt able to use anything wiht left click

Yo, when i try to bind left mouse click to hover loot i lose primary action bind to shoot, maybe im wrong ? And it doesnt say leftcommand it says mouse0
I think the devs fixed this. Guess it was a bug

Does the metal door have two hard sides or does it actually have a soft side?
Both sides should be hard
Sometimes I make big bases tho cos people could be scared to raid it and I just have a ton of shotgun traps
Oh yea! If you can go BIG more power to ya. Just that medium size can be quite enticing to raiders but big will usually end up with a clan rocketing in(you’ll have a good bit of playtime in it though)
You should use strech res since i can see your pc isn't the best but i promise you you'll get better fps and way better gameplay, though i personally use native 1920x1080 lol. also please turn your max gibs to 0, it'll be better
Edit: Or just play on a lower resolution, might not look as good but the extra fps the better

what is left command? you say left click, but left click on mouse is mouse0 and when i press that for hover loot, then primary attack which was left click is gone
Yea, it seems they decided it was a bug and fixed it unfortunately
Just for anyone Watching during 2021 you can NOT shoot people from above the junkyard, in fact you can NOT even jump down. This could be life or death by going up there you are pretty much cornering yourself. Little cover makes for a bad situation to be in. Sorry about this ramble lol.

It depends on your region but any popular server with low ping is good and there should be a many servers for each region. Just search pvp

You right click and hold down to get an options menu to select from

@@CerealOverdrive it is not always that i can rotate an object, and instead the upgrade menu pops up. Is it like a button to press or is it only in a small period of time that you can rotate for example a wall?

Another good tip, don’t put “exposed” in the title when in fact your not really exposing anything that isn’t already pretty common knowledge...
I have 4 k hours and all these tips are litteraly 100 hour stuff and is not helpful at all. Hover loot is helpful tho.
The tips aren’t for everyone but they do help a lot of players
Step 1 don't watch TH-cam videos and play the game
Step 2 play with a friend with at least 1500 hours
