Should do a video on Severs: different types, rules/enforcement , PVE vs PVP, PVP zones, capacity limits, wipes ect... hardest part for me is just picking one and starting

I was apart of the military that governs the lands borders stationed up by the old northern oil rig. I was doing my usual recon duty scouting for any boats trying to gain control but overestimated a railing and fell in the water, right when I did the oil rig was under attack and I got mistaken for one of the attackers and show at until I was unconscious. 11 hours later I was found washed up ashore with a vivid memory of the events and the people who found me, resuscitated me and ultimately looted my body while I was delusional. They were however nice enough to leave me with a rather large rock and a unlit torch with the appropriate flint and steel used for it so I figured they did it as a sort of "Proving Grounds" if you live, come find us type of high status tribal sort of nobility. So I tried as I could of, but as I woke up some random dude screaming the N word while smashing a guitar on the ground near me ran up to me with what looked like a AK and mag dumped me, and that's the story of how I uninstalled Rust.

Update: Seeing this video again over a year later brought back my memories and confusion i had starting out, brought me a good laugh at how i couldnt even build a somewhat decent base or aim a gun

this is not the best tutorial when i harvest stone i wait till i hit the star enough for the node to shrink then i make a pickaxe and finish the node that’s for more stone and now u will have a pickaxe
Finny but then you’re sitting by a stone node waiting for a pick to craft? I’d rather get the node and move on. Staying on the move after making noise can keep you from being found/attacked
Zavity very true. Everything you build/find is temporary so expect to lose it and for that reason don’t horde things

Horses are fun but definitely a weird little addition

One good tip to getting that first furnace (I haven't played rust in a quite a while so my apologies if this doesn't work as well now) but after you build your base and get everything down, especially your sleeping bag you can take some time to just respawn over and over after the timer resets on the bag and just farm your own dead bodies (lol) with the bone knife to get that animal fat and then try and get as much cloth as you can running around waiting for the bag timers. 👍

Morgan Eclipse I’m real but it’s not that hard. Overall I’m only getting like 10-25 comments a day so we’re talking like 5 min a few times a day to shoot out a few messages. I guess the return isn’t there so a lot of small creators don’t bother but it’s helped me create a nice community 😊

I just started playing rust with my brother, and I just wanted to know how many hours it takes to get good?
Depends what you’re looking to do. If you watch a lot of the guides(mine and others) you’ll get decent pretty fast but things like gun spray mastery and all that can take hundreds or even thousands of hours to be best at
Watch videos from channels like meemish gamer and evil wurst to learn to play, and practice on sandbox servers or target practice servers, cause there’s just too many mechanics to learn by now ( which are usually almost useless since you’ll keep getting wrecked and loose everything every 3 days). Also, instead of wasting time learning the hard way, you should know that on most servers you get KOS, you can trust no one, and your base will be most likely raided while you’re offline (there’s a phone app to try preventing that). Lastly, take also note that some players are on servers almost constantly so you’ll never keep up with them, while others use cheats, so try servers with active admins. Still want to play? I don’t blame you, it’s a great game if you like frustration seasoned with salt.

I think it should be coming to console soon. I don’t know if it will be cross play but if it is sure(check my discord link if you want to HMU and chat more). And yea I try my best read and respond to all the comments unless I miss a notification(sometimes they don’t get sent 😭)
